This is how "just one extra feature" in my vibecoded app is looking at me at 23:52

Day 14: Android version and tons of bugs No exciting updates, just journaling my progress with the actual ups and downs. - Got stuck again, the lack of experience is visible. I found out that I need a dev account ($100) if I want to make the iOS app actually shareable. I decided I want to learn the end-to-end process and build a fully functional app before paying, so I created an Android build and am focusing on the .APK file that others can install on their phones. - Tons of bugs after the switch. I found visual issues that were not present on iOS, as well as some interaction and logic issues that need to be fixed. - Added a testing station. I added this to the app so I can simulate different behaviors and fix all those issues one by one. Building an actual working app with no experience is challenging, but I’m slowly pushing forward. @averycode You mean now for this particular app, but I am asking more in general. I saw that you did multiple games as well, and I bet some other stuff. Was there an idea that Rork couldn't implement or was struggling more than usual?

@dmitri_builds i’m using the rork toolkit so there were limitations in image gen (unable to generate image with transparent background) - tho this should be solved when i use my own api keys

My vibe coded art app hit 100k+ views 🤯 I built this to solve my own problem after spending hours creating assets for my app (with opus 4.5 + rork + pinterest) Didn’t expect so many people to find it useful, it’s so fun seeing your creations!

Day 13: Migrations I am at the finish line; it is time to make this app work not only on my computer. - Connected the app to an online database. Decided to use Firebase after I saw it being recommended by @maks6361 in his interview as a simple, fast, and cheap solution. Thank you for the inspiration, it was indeed a very easy process so far - For the same reasons used Firebase as my go-to storage provider and connected it to my app. It has a free bundle, which should be enough for my needs - Added multiple tests to make sure apps is working and started to write different security rules. @robin_faraj When it comes to mental improvement, just don't forget that progress isn't linear. Keep pushing one day at a time, no matter what

day 5 of earning my health back got a fresh haircut - looking human again it's insane how big of a role the mental plays in all this being in the gym, only doing light weight and little work when you know you used to do better you're a shadow of your own but you're here and you're fighting getting back from a low reminds me that I'm stronger than I believe

@shaheel_SH @cinamarina I mostly use these 2 right now, Gemini Pro or Flash and Opus 4.5. Didn't really need any other. If I am inside Cursor then could use Composer for some basic stuff

@dmitri_builds @cinamarina @dmitri_builds That sounds like quite the AI shuffle! It’s like trying to find the best model for your workflow in a crowded dance hall. Any model that’s worked especially well for you?

Which one do you choose: Opus 4.5 or Gemini 3 Pro?

@VivienMahe I would post 1-2 more videos and see if anything changes. It might be just a bug. You ll always be able to do another account later and reupload videos there

I think TikTok just shadow-banned me 🤯 I uploaded a video with a social media management tool. And it's been stuck at 0 views for +12 hours 😅 How do you fix this? Do I need to create a new account?

I used to hate marketing. Now I enjoy making videos. And social media makes me more money than my SaaS. Didn’t see that coming.

@dmitri_builds Need some more iterations to get it right. And you really gave me an amazing idead to A/B test 2 to 3 finalised mascots for the app. But for now it's too much work so would stick to 1 mascot but would definitely try A/B testing once I have enough traction.

Day 5 of building my Tracking App. - Designed the App Mascot. - Made some Ui adjustments. - Watched a YT vid for marketing and App Building. App Mascot is not final but i really like it, What do you think he vibes with the app or not ?

Day 8 of building a 3D gamified habit tracking app ✅ Working on the core functionality ✅ Getting closer to launch Ended the day with a getting a bug

Day 12: Chill day Everyone is being hyper productive on Sunday, I keep this day chill. "Touching the grass" on your behalf 😁 Some updates from previous days: - I finished implementing all designs into code and fixed all bugs - implemented email/password authentication. Used firebase and it was extremely fast and easy - started to look into the way to move all files on a server and explored RevenueCat. Is it the best paywall provider that I could use? Hope you spent Sunday in the best possible way for you, as for me tried lino printing for the first time. Awesome to give your head some rest and work with your hands. Cheers!
