For years TB/TOR/BOS/FLA were murdering each other in the first round as 4 of the top 10 teams in the league year after year and not a peep.
Suddenly it’s a problem when a couple of Western teams have to do it.
Also by the way, TB/MTL is 5th and 6th in the league.

The Avs would fuckin STOMP the Kings and Ducks pretty handily, and both Utah and Edmonton could be massive thorns in our sides.

The Avs don't get to lose in the first round this year. Doesn't matter who they play, they gotta be done with em in 4-6 or the city might implode
That said, avoiding Vegas and Edmonton round one is still nice. No need to make this harder than needed. Anaheim or LA, please.

Is it cursed? Nah, the 2000-2001 Avs earned it in then hoisted the Stanley Cup. Ray Bourque won a championship in the same season, so anything is indeed possible.
