Holy fuck, Whole Foods union just dropped. 300 grocery store workers for Whole Foods in Philly are unionizing with @UFCW @UFCWLocal1776. As far as I can tell, this is the first organizing effort at a whole foods *store,* ever.

“We can’t kick the undocumented workers out of the country, they literally do the jobs we don’t want to do!” is not a progressive sentiment. You still look at them as less than you, good only for scrubbing your toilet and watching your kids. It’s like saying that “oh we can’t do without the Blacks, who’ll pick our cotton? I don’t want to get rid of my maid!”

Today all charges are dismissed for eight activists facing felony charges related to a Cop City protest in 2022. The state knows there was never a legitimate case to begin with. These charges were simply used to terrorize the public out of opposing the police's political agenda.
