MY RESPONSE TO A WONDERFUL ALBERTA PATRIOT ON THE SUBJECT IF THE DANIELLE SMITH BETRAYAL OF ALBERTA

I am fiercely loyal to Alberta and Canada and will be voting for our province to remain in confederation Kicking the can down the road only prolongs an emotional and important debate, and muzzling the voices of hundreds of thousands of Albertans who want to be heard is unjustifiable in a free and democratic society. @PardyBruce @DenZuzana @IGBecker200 This, and the requirement to get to an actual referendum on independence just went from a petition with 179000 signatures to now 50% of the vote in a referendum on if we should have a referendum.

FACT CHECK: Thomas Lukaszuk's own application consistently indicated he selected the referendum, not legislative, option — which makes his latest complaint rather awkward.
