@DLynchSport Its not black&white. You are now incentivised to take the ball into the tackle&unless you fumble,the back can't take it off you legally.Before,the back had some chance if the refs were lenient with the rules.Quick fix is change the handpass rule, only handpass off hurley allowed

Also, by my reckoning I think it was the first line ball to be scored in a county SHC final in Offaly, am open to correction on this but quite a feat with the hurls that time. @Plainofherbs might be able to assist here but nearly sure that is the game the picture is from.
