@Alex_PorterEnt I’d much rather have Trey Murphy for 30 million a year, but you would have to trade a lot of draft capital to get him. I wouldn’t go any higher than 20 million a year on Watson now. Unless they plan to move Ingram at the trade deadline, then I am all for the Watson 30 mill plan.

Wouldn’t surprise me (IF) the Clippers made an offer for Peyton Watson tomorrow. A number that most likely Denver won’t match. 😁

@Alex_PorterEnt Yeah but why pay $30 million plus a year for Watson when Clippers aren’t competing for a championship this year. Let the guys on rookie deals develop and get maximum playing time. When they develop in 2 years, sign the big free agents and make trades for the pieces you need then.

Too many strikeouts and first pitch swinging weak ground outs. On the other hand though, the sunset was beautiful and I had a safe time at the stadium.

@Alex_PorterEnt I know not one person has said this yet as a comp but for someone who covered the Kings in the 2000s, Wagler size, build, and offensive game remind me a lot of Kevin Martin, who was a bucket and played at his own pace with great control and could get to the line at will.

@JeffFletcherOCR Good to see Soler back in the lineup. I didn’t want to see Madrigal or Siri getting too many more hits and quality at bats, I prefer 0-4 with double plays and strikeouts on pitches in the dirt by Soler in the cleanup spot.
