@_microbudgetpod Any time a director has skimped on basic coverage for the fancy shot it backfires. Always, always get the basics to tell the story and then fancy it up after. Future editing you who ran out of money will thank you.

@therealsupes I started the whole thing with "Way of Kings" and then read all the Stormlight books that were available at the time (I think, 3), then pivoted over to Mistborn. Honestly, they all rock and you'll love em.

The Irishman (2019) is top tier Martin Scorsese, no question. But the de aging stumbles hardest, the tech isn’t the issue as much as the memory. Everyone knows how young Robert De Niro moved, and the body language gives the illusion away immediately.
