Pretty sure it is zero. My point is we stupidly will counter a threat but only after we’re currently dealing with it. The Ukr accounts like to dunk on us for drones but we never dunk on them for being 50 years behind in aircraft, SEAD, long range munitions and literally everything else. Their jets all said made in USSR when it started and were wholly dependent on charity which isn’t the greatest defense strategy. We’ll get to drones too late like we always do, it’s a pressing need we stupidly ignore.

The war in Ukraine has taught us that a skinny but smart 65 Kg dude can use a $200 drone to blow the living shit out of a macho 90 Kg "operator". The American "warrior culture" is decades behind the times and it's about to get a severe beating if the US is dumb enough to deploy troops in Iran.

In America you joke like this as friends. It’s difficult to describe but it would be like I am so close to you in friendship I can joke about sensitive issues and it’s accepted as funny. Like Japan surprised attacked us, we fought a war, you knocked us off guard, now we are good friends and can laugh about it.

The Persians are actually pretty advanced. I mean we’re ragdolling them but it’s because we’re like just that far ahead the curve. But they are legit. They were able to get a hit on an F-35. They GPS spoofed and then copied our drone, they had a drone craft carrier, I mean it’s sunk yea, sure cause it’s us but from a technical perspective they have skills. Like even Russias TEMU stealth fighter is still impressive they can attempt it.

Nobody wants to see war escalate. Lives being lost is never something that should be promoted to be pursued. However, as a taxpaying American citizen, if Trump does pull back, I do think there needs to be a complete rethinking of how the U.S. defense system and its budget is run. Trillions of dollars in taxpayer money, advanced technology, Palantir this and that, all the chest pumping buzz words and we end up caving to a third world country with no real defense system guarding a small passage in the Middle East.

lol I work with two of them, they make sirniki and we have a Borscht Day at the office and they also make their own cottage cheese out of whole milk and one of them abhors refried beans or any Mexican kind of bean. Fricking love smoked ribs tho. They always have sweetened condensed milk. Ones from Kherson one from Kharkiv.

My first time embedded with Ukrainian troops back in 2014 they used salo pieces to scoop up sweetened condensed milk like chips and dip. About 10,000 calories per bite. Cyborg food.

I had a thing happen to me in college, although I am pretty much a lifelong believer, that had about a zero percent chance of happening but like 4 things had to happen for me to be able stay in college and transfer to an out of state school. The odds were like 0% but it all lined up.

I notice that every time Europe disagrees with the U.S. Trump complains that "we don’t need NATO" and many even claim the U.S. should leave the alliance. But here’s the truth: the U.S. needs Europe, and Europe needs the U.S. Simple as that. Do you realize that the operations ongoing right now in the Middle East are also possible thanks to European bases? Without them, projecting power, gathering intelligence, and deploying forces quickly would be much harder. It’s a partnership never forget that. American military power can survive without ISR, but without European bases even just in Italy and Germany the U.S. couldn’t operate effectively in the Middle East or Africa.

Just thinking here out loud but , The problem with going down the chain from killing hardliner IRGC , to then killing Iran’s Basiji militia , ….to then killing Iranian police officers . You’re reaching a point where you’re no longer killing the leadership , you’re killing the Iranian people and the citizens families , many of whom are just trying to make a living and get by and manning a Basiji Militia checkpoint or police checkpoint doesn’t mean you want the Islamic republic in control. I dunno, what do you guys think ?
