@TennetiKrshnaMP Sir it's great to see under your speakership Amaravathi's declaration has been done. Congratulations 🎉

@bhatnaturally Totally agree. The way I see it is that all these anushtanam's have come into being as there is a background to it. And there is a benefit which everyone can enjoy following them. Sad to see some ignoring these and do what they like. All Karma in my sense...🙏

Being born into a Brahmin family means a lot of responsibility (please don’t take it as any comparison or suggesting anything ‘superior’). Even if one is not of a purohita profession, there are expectations of some basics: rituals, sandhyavandanam, vegetarianism and so on. It can get as strict as you wish it to be. In my family & community there are many (including youngsters) who will not eat hotel food. It’s only a manifestation of a belief: that food prepared at home is first offered to God as naivedyam and then consumed. So any food has to pass that test - that’s why any food outside home is temple or Matha food or at homes of people with similar outlook or mindset. Same with devotion and puja: there is a belief that it has to be offered with purity of body and mind. That’s why a bath first thing in the morning and then puja. It’s a state of mind - not about untouchability. In that state of mind, people don’t even touch others in the family too. Call it being orthodox or what you will but it should be seen as an effort to show pure devotion, that’s all. It does not inconvenience anyone else. All of this takes extreme sacrifice. People plan their trips out of town with such restrictions in mind - carry home made food, halt at Matha or temple for stay/food or at relatives’ place and so on. Vacations are to teertha kshetras mostly and visiting regular sight seeing places would involve following such self-imposed restrictions too. In today’s world lot of Brahmin families have relaxed their ‘basic’ requirements, which is also ok. They might prefer veg only restaurants or order vegetarian in a mixed restaurant - there are many shades to such choices. The ones not giving up on the strict rituals and sacrifice are in minority and need to be respected & applauded for their choices (which is not a hindrance to anyone else).

Day - 5
Meet Narsaiah garu from Kadtal.
He's a government employee.
From the past 20+ years, he gets up by 3:45am, takes bath and comes to the Ramalayam by 4:30am.
After reaching the temple, he plays the devotional songs in the mic.
He first sweeps and then cleans the entire Ramalayam premises with water.
He leaves by 6:30am, then goes on to his office.
When he was transferred to Karimnagar, instead of relocating himself to Karimnagar, he used to travel 100+100 kms every day but he didn't stop his service at the Ramalayam.
He does all this selflessly, without taking a single rupee or expecting any recognition. Instead, he spends more than ₹5k for the temple every month from his pocket.🧡
His life is dedicated to Prabhu Shree Ram 🙏🏻
It's a pleasure to meet such great people on my way to Ayodhya.

@anandmahindra Agreed. Makes sense too for such a region to project themselves.

The perfect video to view on Holi…
Because the colours of India spring up in many different ways & surprise us.
Chillis laid out for drying create an amazingly beautiful tapestry when seen from above.
This is Guntur district in Andhra Pradesh which alone has a share of 15% in India’s chilli production.
Can, & should AP turn this seasonal crop into a tourist attraction?
It’s a winter harvest so the timing is right.
I’ve never been, but I suspect the problem is that the beauty of the patterns may not be visible at ground level.
Balloon rides?
Curate performances of local music and dance at that time & create a festival?
Other ideas?
I know many will feel that it should be left free of potentially disruptive tourists. But that overlooks the opportunity for the local farmers and communities to supplement their incomes.

The Hindu Dharma Prachara is actually happening in Andhra Pradesh.
From Christianisation of Andhra to Painting “Jai Shree Ram” on the walls, AP has come a long way.

@Benioff @sundarpichai @altcap For me Google with all its data and users is not going to backstep in this AI led search. It's true that AI agents will replace google, bing etc. but Gemini from Google can again be a one stop source for all our information searches and search within the enterprise too
