I’ve found $prl a few days after it launched, a btc fork but with a twist. @prlnet As I always wanted to bring smth meaningful i’ve built an explorer, a mobile wallet and a chrome wallet for the network. 3k unique users in the last 24h. This is NFA, I hold and love $kas as always but the feeling of running an explorer+node+wallets is quite nice. Also this is not a promotion for pearl but rather my plain thoughts.

When did you first get into #crypto? I still remember the exact moment it clicked. It was the middle of 2017. I was working a dead-end job. One random night I was doom-scrolling Reddit when I stumbled into a thread about Bitcoin. At the time it was sitting around $4,000 and the comments were pure chaos, half the people calling it the future of money, the other half calling it a scam. Something about the idea of money that couldn’t be printed by governments or controlled by banks just… hit different. I didn’t understand the technology at all, but I understood the why. I scraped together $80 from my next paycheck and bought my first 0.02 BTC on Coinbase the next morning. That tiny purchase completely changed my life. I went from knowing nothing to staying up until 4 a.m. reading the Bitcoin whitepaper, learning about wallets, private keys, and why “not your keys, not your coins” actually matters. By early 2018 I was fully obsessed, not because I thought I was going to get rich (though I hoped), but because I finally felt like I had found something that actually made sense in a world that often didn’t. Almost nine years later, I’m still here. The price has gone up and down more times than I can count, but that original feeling, the idea of financial sovereignty and owning your own money, has never left. I’m really curious about everyone else’s story. When and why did you first get into crypto? Was it the 2017 bull run? A friend who wouldn’t shut up about it? The 2020–2021 cycle and stimulus checks? A random YouTube video? Or something else entirely? Drop your origin story below. I genuinely love reading these. bitcoin:native

Kaspalytics will be back up soon. Unfortunately, just haven't had time to work on it over the last few days. Changed hosting platforms 2 months ago to save money. I (clearly) didn't pick one that could host a Kaspa node operating at full throttle. Will be fixed soon.

Friendly reminder for $KAS. The price can be manipulated by big players. Long term holder conviction/behaviour cannot. The 2+ year inactive supply grows by a power law with a near perfect fit (R² 0.971). That's real conviction you can't fake or manipulate.

FOSS #Kaspa Explorer. Right now is the time to get the lineup for the non-standard wishlist of items. ie. Feature: Konsole. A console interface for those who have preferences towards being geeky. (Kaspa, KRC20, KRC721, KNS) When using a Proxy/Gateway - I think it's important to show where the source of the data is coming from for validation/verification purposes. @MerlinNobody and a few others may be of interest in joining the initative - which is very welcomed once the beta is up on github, i think we can get this rolling quickly with vercel/like etc very quickly, then add in the local* multi-indexer with a simple config gateway swap. @supertypo_kas @IzioDev open invite as well. Some outsanding curiosities. Socket.io vs socketi / redis vs dragondb. Feedback and or Input/lessons learned are always helpful - but am experimenting with other pub/sub/sockets tech as well. @knsdomain #kaspaexplorer #buildinpublic 🐢.kas

FOSS #kaspa Explorer progress: Working on the Backend/Indexer unification for some key areas along with a gateway for security/scaling/management. If expediting is a key objective, can take a hybrid approach to fill in the missing items with external api's until localized.

@qu1ck_crypt0 @MARA Is this 100% confirmed? I think they started mining Kaspa way ealier? Obviously could be multiple other wallets. I'll look into it myself when I have some time.

We should try to find out exactly why Kaspa's r2 for price and time has been dropping, while total supply held by long term holders is following a near perfect powerlaw. Hashrate, total open interest, trade volume and many other statistics are still following a powerlaw. Some people think the launch of Krc20 + fees messed up the '' balance''. Imo it could have been the launch of Kaspa's perps on Binance. Or a huge amount of stolen funds/total supply in 2024. I also found that some cryptos long term % of supply held over time is following a powerlaw. Funny thing is most of these cryptos have seen huge gains over time. The higher r2 the more consistent the gains. For those cryptos the price overtime growth were random or exponentials. @moneyordebt if you have some spare time I would like to share some of these findings in private so a real expert like yourself can take a look at it.

We observed three clearly periodic tops in 2013, 2017, and 2021 (the first top, which happened before the halvings, was anomalous). The 2021 peak was actually a double top, which may indicate a weakening of the periodic structure. In the current cycle, however, we did not experience a clear top. This does not imply that anything fundamental has changed about the power law. These cyclical oscillations were always a secondary signal—useful, but much noisier and far less fundamental than the underlying scaling law. They were a form of structured noise: not meaningless, but not reliable enough to base long-term expectations on. The open question now is whether we should still expect a bottom in the absence of a well-defined top. My educated guess—given the limited data—is that the system will revert to the median power-law trajectory. But this remains to be seen, and we should allow the data to guide us.
Sminston With 👁@sminston_with

Back up to 17.7% on the Decay Channel Oscillator. - - - That means we're back into dark green; I'm stacking more for sure. - - - Think of this metric as the distance from the power law support, relative to the predicted top.

@binance, Thanks for including me in the top 100 blockchain people list, appreciate the signal! I must decline the Dubai invite though. I do not wish to disrespect, but many of the award voters are avid kaspians who rooted for my kaspa status at least as much as for my research. Let them win or count me out. Crypto has turned from a euphoric cypherpunk project to a house-friendly casino. You may not be the culprit, but as a top player you hold the lion’s share of the responsibility to correct this, and the October crash your USDe oracle glitch helped trigger adds to what needs to be addressed. There are three classes of crypto, as @mert put it recently: commercial crypto, casino crypto, cypherpunk crypto. <> A TBTF CEX should know better and play a different game with hardcore crypto projects. When binance lists a green frog three weeks post its “launch” but skips a fair-launched-Nakamoto-Consensus-100ms-upgrade-ATH-top-20-the-only-nonbitcoin-marathon-mined project, this is not merely binance rationally calculating; it is also binance molding the market in a way that is alas misaligned with the roots of the movement. You may feel that kaspa’s sovereign money thesis is boring – that bitcoin is already money and that implementing an internet-speed bitcoin is useless - fine. Wrong but fine. But what’s the thesis for the green frog? Money is a classic chicken-and-egg product. It is a scam up until one moment before tipping point, “most of the value comes from the value that others place in it.” Considering your resources and influence, I think it's safe to say you can serve as both the egg and the chicken and make it worth your while to push sound attempts towards tipping point. @cz_binance tweeted recently that “strong projects will be listed.” But binance is part of what defines "strong", it bears responsibility for the market’s compass and impulse and definition of strong. It is not a read-only entity. Binance listing fees are legit, they are just unfit for category cypherpunk. Kaspa devs and early supporters fairly mined less than half what satoshi and hals mined. We don’t have a 20% ZEC-style founders’ reward or protocol-enforced dev fund; this is not a jab at ZEC and the wonderful @Zooko, who was crashing in my car on a late Thursday back in the low ZEC MC days – if somebody deserves to win it is zooko – but assuming binance is not taking a maxi bet, it should revisit its relationship with hardcore crypto. We are here through bull and bear, ICOs NFTs XYZs; and we are the source of confidence that restores faith and capital inflow post meme-induced or CEX-induced crashes. Please fix this. Thanks again, hashdag cc @michaelsuttonil Exhibit A: Binance Innovation Zone Exhibit B: 10 bps Nakamoto Consensus

This shows he doesn't understand what quantile regression is about. There is no such a model for gold. Gold usually follows an exponential that is keeping pace with inflation. But it is not a powerful attractor for Gold behavior. Gold has not a particular growth behavior that determines its long term trajectory. The Bitcoin quantile model is based on the power law that it's backbone. Chat GPT warriors like PlanC do not have the intuition to understand these things.
Plan C@TheRealPlanC

Gold investors need a Gold Quantile Model. Too many are FOMO-buying in what is most likely the top quantile band, 95–99.9.
