@DogDeskAction I like that you concentrate on dogs in Turkey because the need is great and my donation goes farther, but of course you must help whoever you can!

Today reminded me that not everyone sees animal welfare the same way. I'll never understand deciding that one dog's suffering deserves attention while another's doesn't because they live in a different country. If a dog needs my help, I'll do what I can, even if they're outside the areas I normally work in. I care about dogs wherever they are. I always will.

@EllenMellen2 I've acquired an excellent library from thrift stores and library sales. Both the china and the books will probably go to a good home.

I'm in tears watching boxes of good books from my husband's library being carried out to donate to a thrift store. No one wants them, not even our church. We can't leave them for our sons to dispose of b/c disabled. I did it with my china, now our books. Life is a vapor.
