🚨 Since England first ventured into the World Cup in 1950, there has ALWAYS been a Manchester United player in their squad and that will continue with Kobbie Mainoo. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️ [SUN]

I have warned repeatedly over many years about election fraud and always been ignored. The Gorton & Denton by-election was a disgrace, but at last there have been some arrests in Greater Manchester.

🎙️ Rio Ferdinand on Marcus Rashford leaving Manchester United out of his World Cup message: “Manchester United fans are going to lose their minds over this, but if you really look at it from Rashford’s perspective, you can understand why he feels that way. For years, every time United struggled, people pointed at Rashford first, as if he was the only player responsible for everything going wrong at the club. I still believe Rashford loves Manchester United, but maybe he no longer feels connected to certain people around the club or the way he was treated during difficult moments. There’s a difference between loving the badge and feeling supported by the environment around you. People forget what this lad has done for Manchester United. He scored massive goals in important games, helped the club through some really difficult periods, won trophies, and carried huge pressure from a young age. At times, he was expected to save the team almost every week, and when things went wrong, he became the easiest target for criticism. When Rashford speaks positively about the people or clubs that supported him during hard moments, I don’t think it’s about disrespecting United. It’s probably more about remembering who stood by him when confidence was low and the pressure was at its highest. At the end of the day, footballers are human beings. If someone feels constantly criticised, unappreciated, or blamed for years, of course it’s going to affect how they feel emotionally. United fans can disagree with his actions, but they should also reflect on the way he was treated before judging him too harshly.”

Harry Maguire, who is English and Northern Irish… … has been demographically replaced in the England World Cup team by an African named ‘Addji Keaninkin Marc-Israel Guéh’ born in Ivory Coast. What’s the point in a ‘national’ football team if someone who is NOT from that nation can join? Maguire should play for England. Guéh should play for Ivory Coast. Common sense. I’m sure Maguire isn’t even allowed to contest this decision because, as his shirt says in the photo below, ‘no room for racism’.

@bitcoinpanda69 Nah, since brexit a lot of our population sit behind a screen and moan rather than do something in their communities. If everyone was a bit nicer to each other we’d all be happier.

@LeaderofKCC It’s not about being able to afford it, it’s about giving people the chance to get into work on time. Not every job is 9-5 and close by. The limited minds of these people really inhibit their ability to change lives for the better

.@MayorofLondon @metpoliceuk @ukhomeoffice @Keir_Starmer I expect a statement from all about this arson attack (one of many) on Christians. There could have been families and children in that church or at the very least individuals preparing for a service. This is a blatant attack on native Christians and our very own culture, on our very own lands. Christians across the nation must feel extremely unsafe & petrified that this is happening on our doorstep! Awaiting patiently for your statements for such attacks that are taking place in our Christian country! (not abroad)… 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The people of Makerfield, the odds of the Conservatives winning are 500 to 1 with Sky Bet. If 30,000 of you each put a £10 bet at Sky Bet and a Conservative wins you'll have a Tory MP and each one of you will win £5,000. Just a thought.

My FA Cup era is probably 1983 to 1991. If pushed, I’d probably edge towards 1987 over 1990. Which FA Cup final brings back the strongest memories for you?

Decided not to comment on this yesterday till now, but I’ll be honest. Some of the reactions I’ve seen after the FA Youth Cup final have been genuinely disheartening. Yes, emotions were running high and a few players may not have handled the disappointment in the most appropriate manner in the immediate aftermath. But that’s natural. These are young lads who had just experienced a devastating defeat in one of the biggest moments of their careers to date. What’s the point of being a youth then if you don’t make mistakes? And on JJ Gabriel specifically, some of the discourse has been absurd. He is only 15 years old and has already won the Premier League U18 Player of the Season and the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award. To be achieving that at his age is extraordinary in itself. One FA Youth Cup final where he doesn’t produce moments worthy of prime Neymar or Ronaldinho is not going to define his career or determine the player he becomes. The vitriol directed at some of these players over isolated moments and one result has been completely disproportionate. These are literally kids representing the badge with immense pride, giving everything for the shirt in a major final. One difficult night does not negate the talent, commitment and potential within this group. You can be disappointed with the result without disparaging young players who have produced an outstanding season and still have enormous futures ahead of them. Support them in defeat with the same energy you celebrate them in victory.
