@MartinKnight_ I found £13 in the street, I had to take that to the police station. I had to wait a month, but I got it back and bought a digital watch with it. That's how old I am :)

When I was about 8 or 9 i found a ten bob note on the path. I told my Dad who made me take it to the police station, much to my annoyance.
The desk sgt took it & said come back in a week & if it hasn’t been claimed you can keep it. A week later I did come back & the smiling copper gave it to me.
Seems so quaint now. The world has changed so much. My home town has a population of 69,000 & doesn’t even have a police station anymore.

On the Eurostar. They actually make an announcement saying that anyone watching videos, listening to music etc on phones or laptops MUST wear headphones to avoid bothering other passengers. They should do this on every train!
