Atom the registrar has promotion register up to 3 .com domain names for $5.99 each (code COM599). They require SMS confirmation, but allow any specific phone number to be used only once. So will need three SMS phone numbers. Might be different if all reg done at once.

Drop a domain from your portfolio you believe is undervalued 👇 Only premium names. No filler ⚠️ Think: 1–3 letter domains, real one-word English names, or strong concepts like algorith.ai (derived from “algorithms”). Curious to see what’s out there 👀

Fiatium.com just hit the premium market—automatically listed by Atom. 🔥 Strong, brandable, finance-ready name with serious Web3 + fintech vibes. Short, clean, and screams future money. This one has real upside. 🚀 #DomainsForSale #Atom #domain

Acquired an animal-name .com: GuineaFowl․com. I know it’s not as iconic as chicken, duck, ostrich, or even quail, but it’s still fairly recognizable. I’ve actually seen them raised on a local farm before. Interestingly, before buying this domain, I didn’t even know this bird was called a “guinea fowl”. Have you ever seen or even eaten this type of bird? 😁

💡 Sold a domain this morning, 6K outbound sent the funds from MM to Binance. Now they’ve added facial recognition + local key verification for every withdrawal+email code + phone code, i had only the key + email code + phone code… honestly, this kind of friction is killing the user experience. If this keeps up, crypto adoption is going to struggle. Do you know a better option for easy EUR/USD withdrawals? Tried Binance, Coinbase, OKX, none of them feel smooth right now.

Domain Investing: Ten Things I Always Do It’s no secret that 99.9% of the domain names I acquire are hand-picked, and I have no plans to change this strategy anytime soon. Every domain I have hand-picked over the past 36 months has been previously owned, often with some backlinks. Lately, I’ve noticed that the names I’m choosing are frequently taken in extensions like .ai, .de, .co.uk, .xyz or .co—and many are active websites. Before registering a domain, I have a few rituals I always follow. They don’t need to be done in a strict order, but each one is important. Without further ado, here are the essential steps I take before registering a domain with my preferred registrars: 1. Check availability – Quickly see if the domain is available for hand registration at Spaceship, Epik, or Sav. 2. Explore other extensions – Use DotDB to see if the domain is taken in other extensions. 3. Appraisal and comps – Use Atom appraisal and comparable sales to see if a similar keyword has been sold previously. 4. Google research – Check if the word has been used by organizations or individuals. 5. Wayback Machine check – Visit Archive*org to see the history of the domain and previous registrants. 6. Social media availability – Use X (formerly Twitter) to check if the word or phrase is already a social media handle. 7. Cross-language check – If the domain is brandable, use Google Translate to ensure it doesn’t mean something undesirable in another language. 8. AI rating – Use ChatGPT to evaluate the domain on length, clarity, memorability, phonetics, flexibility, and commercial potential. I consider a score of 7 or higher a green light. 9. Trademark search – Conduct a quick search to ensure I’m not infringing on any existing business or brand trademarks. 10. Extra checks – If anything else comes to mind that could help me make an informed decision, I do it. When it comes to brandable domains, I usually aim for six-letter words and occasionally seven. Longer words are harder to pronounce and remember. For domains made of two or three English words, I ensure the words work well together. I also avoid registering more than five domains at a time because renewals can add up quickly if you’re not careful. As of 2026, I’ve decided to focus exclusively on .com domains—that is my personal investment strategy. For me, #domain investing is not a lottery ticket to wealth; it is a business that requires diligence, patience, and risk management. Every domain I choose is a calculated investment, with the potential for reward—but also the possibility of loss. Elie Eweka Sapphire

Yesterday I was bidding on Zagora․com. At first, I thought it was just a Moroccan town, a gateway to the Sahara. Since I already own Merzouga․com, another key desert destination, I felt pairing them would be perfect. I pushed into the low $x,xxx range and thought I had it. Then two bidders, “1timmy” and “gstion zagora,” drove the price all the way up to $16,500. That made me pause. After digging deeper, I realized “Gestion Zagora” might be a real estate management company in Canada. If that is the case, this was an end user joining the auction and still losing. That is what made this auction fascinating. For Morocco geo domains, besides Merzouga․com, I also hold AitBenhaddou․com, Fnideq․com, and TamudaBay․com. Morocco actually has a surprisingly large number of domain investors. Now I am curious. Is “1timmy” a Moroccan buyer, or someone who simply had to own this name for a completely different reason? 🤔

It sounds unbelievable, but it’s real. I just acquired an exact match medical .com domain — Varicocele․com — from American Cancer Society (cancer.org), a nonprofit managing over $1.5B in assets. Most people have probably never heard of “varicocele.” But it actually affects around 15% of men worldwide. In most cases, it’s mild and doesn’t impact daily life. But in more severe cases, it can lead to male infertility and may require surgery. In the US, that procedure typically costs around $5,000 to $15,000. Now think about it. If you’re a urology clinic specializing in this condition, and you own Varicocele․com… You don’t need massive traffic. Just a few qualified leads per year, and the domain already pays for itself many times over. That’s the hidden value of exact match disease domains. They don’t look impressive at first glance, but they sit directly on high-intent traffic. Interestingly, many of these disease .com domains are owned and operated by big pharma companies. For example: Asthma.com and COPD.com → GSK Arthritis.com → Pfizer Psoriasis.com → AbbVie They build high-quality educational sites on these domains. Because in many countries, direct-to-consumer promotion of prescription drugs or medical procedures is heavily restricted. So instead of promoting a specific treatment, they focus on educating patients about the condition itself. Exact match domains play a key role here: They rank naturally on search, capture high-intent traffic, build trust, and guide patients into the healthcare system. From there, treatment decisions follow. No hard selling. Just positioning. That’s why disease .com domains often carry value that isn’t obvious at first glance. And in many cases, they are still underestimated by domain investors. Personally, medical and healthcare domains have always been one of my favorite categories. I own names like DrugAI․com, DrugDiscoveryAI․com, CancerVaccines․com, CancerGenetics․com, SurgicalRobots․com, Pharmacy․net, Neuropharm․com and more. I’ve also sold several medical-related domains in the 5 figure range. Adding Varicocele․com to my portfolio is another step forward. If you own any exact match medical or disease .com domains with at least 10+ EMDs according to dotDB, feel free to reach out — I might be a buyer if the price is within investor range.
