You could ask me every day for "feedback" and I'd probably start with "hmm, I don't know." Ask for "do you have any advice for me?" and I probably won't shut up with suggestions for things to do, or look at, or read, or whatever.

I read on here a few weeks back that asking "for feedback" usually locks people up because the word feedback makes it sound like more than it is. Instead one should ask: "do you have any advice for me/them?" I'm telling you: one of the biggest mind-tricks I've found in years.
