💧 Tests on the water confirmed blue-green algae in Wimbledon Park brook.
💧Thames Water are investigating the source.
⛔🐶 Although it is a natural occurrence, this algae can be harmful to dogs, so, we are advising people not to let their pets drink or go into the water.

Major pollution incident in Wimbledon Park lake which is owned by Merton Council. Milky blue water with unpleasant smell flowing through the park and into the Wandle.
