Quality of life updates to @GoogleAIStudio we just shipped (using Gemini): - You can now (optionally) save a temp chat in the playground - You can now turn a playground chat into an app in 2 clicks - Updated colors for playground to add some soul to it - Simplified the mobile vibe coding UI (chat panel) - Hide the edit title button for an app unless you hover on it - Simplify the input text box when vibe coding on both desktop and mobile - Make sure AI Studio persists the last part of the product you visited (build, playground, dashboard) - Set a default media resolution in the playground - Made the diff visualizations more simple in the build UI - Mobile optimize the feedback and bug UI modal - Make it easier to see feature chips in Build - Fix ordering of Search Grounding and Maps Grounding - Rename the Vibe coding Code Assistant to just Gemini - Add a STT button in the playground - Make sure Nano Banana 2 correctly shows the API key popup - Show all categories in the model drop down for the AI Studio playground without needing to scroll Many more in the works : ) big thanks to the engineering team and Gemini for partnering on these changes with me!!

Google prepares Avatars (Likeness) for the upcoming release after rounds of internal testing. Users will be able to generate 3D avatars of themselves for image and potentially video generation. Gemini character consistency 👀 Besides that, a new "Remy" tab is being prepared to help students with exam preparations.

Veo 4! ...would have been nice! 😉 But instead we're getting Veo 3.1 Lite from @GoogleDeepMind. A cheaper and faster variant of the established Veo 3.1. It's better than nothing and surely it's useful for some use-cases. You just have to wait a bit longer for Veo 4.

@OfficialLoganK @mihaimaruseac Hey Logan, For the last couple of days, I am hitting rate limits on AI studio for 2.5 Pro, it hasn't happened until recently. I also saw many reddit posts about this. Is it a bug or AI studio now has rate limits for 2.5 pro?

@mihaimaruseac Lots of people using at scale, generally I agree we should not redirect, but trying to not cause production outages.

Heads up: we will be redirecting "gemini-2.5-pro-05-06" and "gemini-2.5-pro-03-25" endpoints to our GA model gemini-2.5-pro on Jun 26 at 10 AM PST. The latter (03-25) currently points to the (05-06) model. Thanks for being on the 2.5 Pro journey with us, we learned a lot : )

I am continually impressed by @v0, truly a great product.

@OfficialLoganK @leerob hey logan, 2.5 pro 05-06 not thinking after 30k tokens. It started yesterday and sometime it starts with thinking mode when prompted like use Thinking. Even that stops after a while and without thinking, the response quality takes a major dive.🧐🧐

Hey Logan, starting from today, AISTUDIO lags pretty bad, cant even go past 34k tokens without the browser lagging and sometimes its nearly impossible to use. Reddit also reporting the issue. Please look into it @OfficialLoganK
