PixVerse V6 (left) vs Seedance 2 (right). Seedance mispronounced a name (a persistent problem in the model - he says "Castellani" but I wrote Castellano), however it is otherwise far superior to PixVerse.
I hope another company is able to dethrone Seedance 2 in the very near future - we need proper competition in AI video, as well as an alternative to the totalitarian censorship adopted by Bytedance since SD2 first appeared - but at the moment, no other models come close to it.

Rumors are floating around that Veo 4 could drop relatively soon and if they’re true, it might beat Seedance 2.0 by a pretty significant margin.
If that happens, AI video is about to get ridiculous.

I would like to hope that it's Hunyuan Video that dethrones Seedance 2, since we could hope for open source/open weights.
But I feel it's more likely Pixverse since they just raised tons of money this month at $1B+ valuation.
