Delighted to share our paper led by an amazing post doc @donagh_egan and Dr Kate Glennon who developed a framework to temporally order HGSOC tumour samples based on their proteomic expression profiles providing novel insights into metastatic progression. nature.com/articles/s4169…

New SBI article out from @donagh_egan et al! This paper demonstrates how regulon-based characterization of cell states provides robust and functionally informative markers that can deconvolve bulk RNA-seq data to identify ICI responders.⬇️ @PrecisionOncIre #immunotherapy

Finishing up my PhD in 2012 I had a stipend of €18k. A decade later my students have a stipend that is only marginally higher (€18.5k, 3% increase). In the same time period rent for a single room in Dublin has gone up almost 70%. This is completely unsustainable.

"The steps in this budget are welcome but our students and faculty will continue to seek parity with their counterparts in other EU countries. In particular the €500 increase for PhDs is grossly inadequate."
