Imagine someone asking the pope if he has read the bible. No one is that pretentious right?
Leading Report@LeadingReport
Fox News’ Sean Hannity wonders if Pope Leo XIV has “even read the Bible” in response to his anti-conflict stance. “Has he ever heard of David and Goliath?”

@EODHappyCaptain @GravySauceCream @ZannSuz Concur. The Red Hot by JBLM had an Elvis hot dog with peanut butter and bacon, but no jelly. Similar, but different and delicious.

Science is a powerful tool, if we choose it, and use it.
This World Health Day, WHO has a simple message:
Together for Health. #StandWithScience.

Here’s the deal with social media:
If you know someone currently deployed: no you don’t
If your friend’s dad told you something about their kid: no he didn’t.
If your friend contacted you just to chat: nope. Didn’t happen.
Everyone on social media wants to have more information than everyone else so they can get engagement.
Don’t get people killed for likes.

.@JamesTalarico: What would Jesus do about a tax system that benefits the rich over the poor? What would Jesus do about an education system that ties a child's school funding to their community's property wealth? What would Jesus do about a justice system that incarcerates more people than any other country on the face of the earth?
Would he stay in his room and pray? Or would he walk into the seat of power and flip over the tables of injustice?
We Christians are called to do more than charity. We are called to challenge the systems that make charity necessary.

Maher: So being Christian is an important part of being truly American?
Boebert: Absolutely
@JamesTalarico: As a Christian, I was taught that we're supposed to follow Jesus' two commandments — love God and love neighbor. There was no exception to that second commandment.
Love thy neighbor regardless of race or gender or sexual orientation or immigration status or religious affiliation.
In Texas, I'm constantly battling Christian nationalism — a bill that forces every public school teacher to put up a poster of the 10 Commandments, a bill that replaces school counselors with untrained chaplains, a bill that would have taught Christian Bible stories as historical fact to our youngest students. And I always speak up on behalf of my Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist, Sikh, agnostic, and atheist neighbors. Because we as Christians are called to love them as ourselves, and forcing my religion down their throats is not love.

.@JamesTalarico on the Trump administration blocking the airing of his Colbert interview: “This is the party that ran against cancel culture, and now they are trying to control what we watch, what we say, and what we read.
This is the most dangerous kind of cancel culture — the kind that comes from the top. Corporate media executives are selling out the First Amendment to curry favor with corrupt politicians.
A threat to any of our First Amendment rights is a threat to all of our First Amendment rights.”

We had some of the most heated political debates I can remember around this table.
I can remember several disagreements over President Obama, and his policies.
We remembered oaths, and followed the chain of command despite any personal opinion.
That kid has a right to speak.

YOU chose to wear our flag. YOU chose to represent our country. YOU chose to compete at the @Olympics. If that’s too hard for you, then GO HOME. Some things are bigger than politics. You just don’t get it.

@bworthdasyrup We got sold on an Odyssey when a review (correctly) said that “hauling a$$” was the only thing it did better than “hauling a$$es”

Who wants to race? All the other parents are gonna need peanut butter from being so jelly in the school pickup line. NERDS #butterworthdasyrup

@rbarbosa91 What’s old is new! Summon your illustrator and publish the Barbosa maneuver!

The funny thing here is, if we take you at your word, you’re basing all of your constant commentary on this situation on an objectively wrong understanding of what happened that could be corrected by watching the video all of the rest of us watched.
I think it’s more likely that you’re just lying, but either way it’s astounding.
English

These people are incapable of not lying about this.
"Side window"? You can see the photos of the car with bullet holes. The shots came from the front of the car because that's where the officer was standing when he was hit by the car.
He is allowed to discharge his weapon in self defense.
Ryan Grim@ryangrim
Ok this is genuinely psychotic. Innocent? He shot an unarmed woman twice through a side window and then called her a “fuckin’ bitch,” let her bleed out, and fled the scene.
