THE PRIME MINISTERS SHAMEFUL IMMIGRATION PLAN WILL CHANGE THE RULES FOR MIGRANT CARE WORKERS It will keep them in a temporary status for a decade or more, make them more easily exploitable, poorer and marginalised. WHEN DID THAT BECOME THE POLICY OF A LABOUR GOVERNMENT?

Nakuru court has ruled that six Kenya Wildlife Service officers have a case to answer regarding the death of Brian Odhiambo. The magistrate determined that there is sufficient evidence to place the accused on their defense, marking a pivotal step in the trial. The proceedings are scheduled to resume for the next hearing on June 8, 2026.

According to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs: About 45 million Africans live outside of Africa. Out of 1.4 billion people, that is roughly 3 percent of our population. Around 85 to 90 million Asians live outside of Asia. Asia’s total population is about 4.7 billion. That means roughly 2 percent of Asians live outside their continent. About 9 million citizens of the United States live outside their country out of 335 million people. That is roughly 5 percent of Americans. And around 70 million Europeans born in Europe live outside of Europe out of 450 million. That is about 15 percent of their population. So in raw numbers and in percentage, Americans and Europeans are the biggest migrant populations on this planet. Yet somehow they keep pushing the story as if migration is a problem exported by the global south.

I'm sorry but it's hard to see people lie about how legal immigration to the United Kingdom works, and say nothing about it. I am a legal immigrant to the UK. In 2023, I had to spent roughly £5,000 for a 2.5 years visa, NHS surcharge, biometric appointment and language tests. I will have to spend £4,000 this year, to extend my visa by another 2.5 years, after which, I'll need to pay again for indefinite leave-to-remain. On top of that, as a legal immigrant, I am understandably required to pay taxes, national insurance and can NOT claim benefits. This on-going myth that legal immigrants are free-loading on UK taxpayers is complete bullshit. If anything, I'm subsidising them. My legal immigrant ass is a net benefit to your country.

The British public has footed the bill for an immigration system that feels out of control and unfair. We’re stopping this. It is only fair that migrants with an income or sizeable assets will have to contribute to the cost of their stay, not the taxpayer.

The audacity of Jim Ratcliffe, a British billionaire who migrated to Monaco to avoid paying taxes, but was trying to get UK taxpayer money to enable his stadium project, saying this. Using ‘colonised’ when actual British colonialism resulted in over 100 million Indian deaths between 1881-1920 alone, transportation of 3.5 million African slaves, and an endless array of other atrocities with the impact still being felt today. And when the success of Manchester United, on the field and commercially, is in large part dependent on foreigners. Vile, vile, vile.

This is a very misleading tweet, whoever tweeted this should have indicated the set of migrants being referred to. This is why an average British person is ill-informed about so many things, because of pages like this. 1. A legal migrant has no recourse to public funds. S/he cannot access any form of aid, their children got no free hours in nursery, no benefit of any kind. 2. A legal migrant paid for IHS (health surcharge- to cover them if they have to use the NHS). (can be up to £5,200) 3. A legal migrant paid visa fees (can be up to £1,000) Now, listen to this part: 3. If the legal migrant is a student, s/he pays between £13,000 and £20,000 as school fees CASH (you can multiply that by the thousands of students so you can know how much influx of money that is). During their study year, they cannot work more than 20 hours per week, and the only thing they’re excluded from is council tax. It’s sensible because they barely work to pay their rent and other bills. 4. A legal migrant pays rent to their landlords, pay water bill, council tax, electric/gas bill, tax, etc. They’re not excluded from any single thing. There’s literally nothing a legal migrant enjoys. They contribute same thing like every other citizen and don’t even get anything in return, no recourse to public funds. Pages like that of the Home Office do not post such info, they don’t do any justice in informing people, that’s why when you engage an average Brit, they just think you’re the problem. I mean, I’ve got dozens of British friends and when I tell them these things, they’re in shock. They’re not aware of so many things, they also just think EVERY MIGRANT IS THE PROBLEM. Do I blame them? Not really, because they rely on the media, and the media feeds them with propaganda. For instance, tell me what it’ll take for this post to include “illegal migrants”. They know what they’re doing. Keep the British populace uninformed.

Ash Sarkar, "Jim Ratcliffe is a stinking hypocrite" "He became a tax resident of Monaco to save £4 billion that could have gone towards British schools, the British NHS, towards British defence, instead he decided he wanted that money for his own pocket" "If it wasn't for immigration, Manchester United would have had just three of their starting eleven last night - not really going to beat West Ham with that" "The kind of language: being colonised by immigrants" "That moves beyond talking about immigration as a policy" "You're talking about people who come here to live, to work, to have families, as though they are a hostile occupying force, taking away your language, your culture, your ability to survive" Victoria Derbyshire, "Some voters believe their language is taken away" Ash Sarkar, "There are some people who believe the moon is made of cheese, but it doesn't mean they are right" Well said @AyoCaesar 🧀

When my wife came to England, we had to pay over £10k in visa fees and requirements all told, all the while she paid IHS, council tax, PAYE, National Insurance, full tax on earnings and paid an additional NHS fee only applied to non citizens on top. Despite teaching English in Brazil and demonstrating fluency, she was made to pay for and sit an English exam every year until citizenship. She wasn’t allowed to work for her first 12 months in England, this should have been around 3 months but the Home Office lost our paperwork twice. Needless to say benefits were prohibited during all of this.

Today I am angry, broken, and ashamed as a Kenyan. Let’s stop pretending. Appointing a camel farmer to run the Ministry of Health was not leadership it was rewarding loyalty at the altar of Kenyan lives. And now blood is on the floor. This is not politics. This is cruelty. Alice Mumbua is 71 years old. She fell sick in August 2025 and was admitted to Mega Life Hospital Ruai. ICU. Fighting for her life. September passed. October passed. The bill climbed to KSh 1.7 million. Her husband, John, did what men do when they love he sold his land in Kasarani, Njiru Ward. His shamba. His future. He paid KSh 1.1 million and begged the hospital to release his wife so they could agree on how to clear the balance. The hospital refused. In November, desperate and exhausted, he registered his wife under SHA, believing government healthcare meant something. The hospital laughed it off. “We don’t take SHA.” Then shifted goalposts: “SHA only covers some things. Pay first.” Then tragedy struck. December 7th, the man carrying this burden alone the breadwinner, the fighter, the husband of 50 years collapsed and died. Alice lost her husband while lying in a hospital bed she was being held hostage in. And it got worse. The hospital DENIED HER PERMISSION TO BURY HER HUSBAND. They told her plainly: No money, no freedom. Her husband’s funeral was delayed three weeks. He was buried without his wife of 50 years present. She spent Christmas detained like a criminal not because she committed a crime, but because she was poor. This is not healthcare. This is kidnapping with receipts. As of January 8, the bill has ballooned to KSh 2.8 million because the hospital happily charged her for every day they imprisoned her after killing her spirit. And where is the @MOH_Kenya ? @HonAdenDuale, where are you? Busy with politics? Busy defending incompetence? Busy lecturing Kenyans while hospitals turn patients into prisoners? Universal Health Care is not a slogan. It is not a press conference. It is not propaganda. When private hospitals openly sabotage SHA, detain patients, block burials, and extort grieving families that is a failure of the Ministry. This government has allowed profit-driven facilities to torture citizens, and the silence from MOH is loud. Alice Mumbua should be home mourning her husband. Instead, she is detained, traumatized, and punished for surviving. Kenyans of good will, this can be your mother tomorrow. If this does not outrage you, then we have truly lost our humanity. Free Alice Mumbua. Tame rogue hospitals. Hold the Ministry of Health accountable. Enough is enough.
