@sunshine222blue I lost my sister very suddenly and unexpectedly 5 years ago - I’d give anything to have one more barbecue with her - go and enjoy each other’s company. She may have potato salad 👍

It’s gonna be 35 degrees today. My sister has planned a bbq. She lives an hours drive away. I don’t want to go, I want to melt into my balcony chair in the shade, listen to soft summer tunes, eat potato salad and sleep Should I go?

@Vocal_GenX And if it’s like our tip when you get there they will check what you are dumping and charge you if you exceed their set limits - there is more fly tipping in the area of the tip than anywhere around our area !

I’ve just discovered I need to book a time slot for the local tip in Oxfordshire And they wonder why fly-tipping is a problem….

The Chelsea Flower show was on my bucket list. The sense of disappointment was monumental when I discovered the meagre eight gardens and handful of balcony gardens in the vast beautiful grounds of the Royal Chelsea Hospital. Instead of a cacophony of flowers there was a cacophony of stalls and floral attire selling toot to the masses blocking the sparse gardens from sight. Queues formed as visitors flocked for a beverage to drown out their disappointment but not before they swerved an overzealous mobility scooter whose driver was understandably sick of not being seen. Looking for a seat? Good luck - best to initiate a Pimm’s crawl and act interested in some garden furniture. Just try not to get caught on camera, upstaging  an influencer's carefully curated shot.   I’m sure this is fun on preview day when riff raff like myself aren’t permitted entry but it’s still lacking…well, gardens!  The endless posturing was at odds with what should have been a natural and inspiring experience. They need to limit the number of people each day by running it for longer..introduce more GARDENS and curate what’s on sale…better. x.com/sarahwoods66/s…

@Ash_Prints I’ve used e-sun and it’s been good. I’ve also used their marble and that’s been good.

@SarahWoods66 We went probably 20 years ago and it was the same then with highly inflated prices for food and drink - and the gardens are much smaller than they seem on the telly - we found that the Malvern show is the best.

Not my usual tweet but I want a little rant. I got gifted 2 tickets to the Chelsea Flower Show so went with a friend yesterday. We paid for an overnight stay in a hotel, train fares and food. I can honestly say it was AWFUL. It was unbelievably busy with huge numbers of people making it impossible to walk - we were just shoved along by the crowd. I couldn’t see any of the show gardens because the fight to see them was 5 people deep. Even if you did get to the front you were being pressured to move on. We gave up after 3 hours and went to the Chelsea Physic Garden along the road which was a much welcome oasis of calm. The organisers of the show should be ashamed of themselves. Visitor numbers need limiting and I feel so sorry for anyone for whom this was a first time long awaited visit #RHSChelsea #RHSChelseaFlowerShow @GWandShows @GWandShows @The_RHS

Hi @GWRHelp, what compensation are you offering to passengers who’ve paid £90 to travel on the massively over-booked, standing room only 19:04 train from Paddington to Plymouth? How can you force people to stand for hours when tickets cost so much? Disgusting!

@repkord @PrusaSlicer I find the build plate makes a difference also - I occasionally use the BIQU CryoGrip Pro Glacier Panda build plate for difficult prints and it works so well it can be difficult to actually remove the finished print.

@donlinch @joescalon @sunluofficial Yikes, that's unfortunate. The sloppiness, I could maybe forgive, I'd have to see the rest of it further down. The wavy, warped filament though is an immediate no-go for me.

Honest question, is neat wound spools much more expensive? Bottom spool is from an American brand that went out of business. As a side note it’s my favorite filament color(Blue Steel) and would be great to find in ASA.

@donlinch @joescalon If the whole spool (at least beyond the outer layer or two) looks like that, I'd complain to their support. They're better than that. Especially now that they've revived and expanded their refill products, where sloppy spooling would make the refill completely unusable.

Has anyone yet invented an internet connected washing machine? It would be handy to see if I remembered to turn mine on from my phone while I'm out - to operate it remotely, and see how long is left on any given wash cycle.

@donlinch @joescalon Dang, I've been buying from them for years and never had one show up like that. The fact that the filament is actually wavy makes me think it got cooked in storage or something.

@joescalon Nah, if SUNLU can manage neatly wound spooling at their price point, there's no excuse these days.
