@robertlufkinmd Sugar and starches are fundamentally different. Sugar is absorbed quickly into the bloodstream. Starches end up in the colon where they ferment forming gram negative bacteria and lipopolysacharides. Which enter the blood stream and damage liver and mitochondria.

@TMGFlorida @robertlufkinmd Yeah. You wont win that argument against them, not because you are wrong, but because thats all they have left and they wont destroy their own identity.

I love my vegan friends. I love my carnivore friends. I just wish they got long better. I think it is possible for either diet to be healthy (or unhealthy) depending on the food choices. h/t Starrydreamer62

@robertlufkinmd It was never sugar. It was starches and no, its not the same. Starches are fermented in the colon by gram negative bacteria. Producing lipopolysacharides. These enter the blood and damage mitochondria and liver. Sugars are absorbed early and dont get fermented.

@markkaplan20 Mark. I am totally ahead of you bro. Been there done that. Turns out sugar isn’t the answer either. Seed oils yes. Seed oils make it so your body cant properly burn glucose. Glucose was never the problem. Also Lipopolysacharides are damaging mitochondria. Boosted by starches

I was a professional tennis player. I competed at Wimbledon. I ranked 117 in the world. I was the healthiest person I knew. At 52, I drove myself to the ER mid-match and had a heart attack. Here's what I found when I refused to accept the answer my doctor gave me 🧵

@NicHulscher I have a teenage daughter that has "vaccine-injured" epilepsy. Medication doesn't subdue her seizures. For two years, we have tried lots of options! No solutions. I think menbendozle would help. Your thoughts? Advice appreciated! 🙂

We just analyzed a large body of real-world HUMAN data from cancer patients taking ivermectin + mebendazole. NO EVIDENCE OF DISEASE (NED) appeared… often. Study coming very soon — stay tuned.

In 1980, over 450,000 children were paralyzed annually by Polio. Today? A 99.9% reduction. To the "natural immunity" and "better plumbing" crowd: Polio actually peaked in developed nations with excellent sanitation. Hygiene didn't stop the virus; the MOST SUCCESSFUL VACCINATION PROGRAM in history did. We traded a life in an Iron Lung for two drops of a vaccine.

The UN for the first time in history just officially named a sitting U.S. president Donald Trump as a racist whose hate speech has caused grave human rights violations. Congratulations America.

For decades we’ve been told that the path to better health is calorie restriction. But I think that phrase hides an important distinction. There’s a big difference between: 1. Consciously restricting calories White-knuckling your way through hunger because you’re trying to eat less than your body wants. and 2. Living in a way where you simply don’t need as many calories Our ancestors didn’t “restrict calories.” They slept well. They moved a lot. They ate real food. They carried more muscle. Their metabolism worked. As a result, they naturally maintained healthy body fat. No calorie spreadsheets required. If someone improves their sleep, starts resistance training, walks more, and begins eating more nutrient-dense food… …and their calorie intake drops as a result… Did they “restrict calories”? Or did they simply fix the system that regulates appetite and metabolism? When your biology is working properly, you often end up eating fewer calories. But it doesn’t feel like restriction. It feels like normal. That’s a very different thing.
Eric Topol@EricTopol

Dietary (caloric) restriction has so many salutary effects for slowing the aging process in animal models, but whether that can be simulated in some way in people remains unclear. This new comprehensive review @NatureAging is outstanding nature.com/articles/s4358…

This headline. THIS HEADLINE. 🤦‍♀️ “Eating just ONE egg a day increases your risk of diabetes by 60%” I need everyone to sit with that for a second. I eat 6 to 12 eggs a day. Every single day. For the past year. And in that same year I: 🥚Reversed type 2 diabetes 🥚Reversed insulin resistance 🥚Reversed sleep apnea 🥚Stabilized my blood sugar 🥚Balanced my hormones 🥚Eliminated perimenopause symptoms 🥚Lost 140 pounds 🥚Got my brain back On EGGS. Beef. Bacon. Butter. This is exactly the kind of fear propaganda that kept me sick for 47 years. Headlines designed to keep you terrified of real food so you keep buying processed garbage and prescription pills instead. Eggs are one of the most nutrient dense foods on the planet. Complete protein. Choline for your brain. B12 for your nervous system. Healthy fat for your hormones. The yolk alone is a multivitamin. They don’t want you to know that. A healthy population is a terrible business model. I was headed for an early grave. Eggs didn’t almost kill me. Believing this kind of nonsense almost killed me. Never again. 🥚🥩👑 Ready to stop being lied to and start actually healing? Free tools in my bio! Your second chance is waiting.

The $156,132 Māra Tautāne project is a Massey University research grant under the Biological Heritage National Science Challenge (Ngā Rākau Taketake stream, Mobilising for Action theme). Funded via MBIE (Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment) as part of the $63.7M Challenge budget. Project team: academics including Dr Natasha Tassell-Matamua and others focused on Tūhoe hapū cultural practices in Ruātoki. No specific government officials named publicly for approving this individual grant—decisions handled by the Challenge's governance/board and standard peer review. The image shows a basic fenced garden plot with rows of plants.
