Massive geopolitical shift. NHK World confirms Japan has perfected a revolutionary process to extract high purity lithium from dead batteries with a staggering 90 percent recovery rate. This brilliant technological leap guarantees Japan's absolute economic security.

Angela Rayner’s Employment Rights Act hands police the power to force entry into workplaces. Under the Act, officers can enter businesses, seize documents and make arrests. The Fair Work Agency — another unaccountable quango — became the Act’s regulator yesterday. It now has the authority to carry out “unannounced” inspections and use force “where reasonable and necessary”, earning the nickname Labour’s “jobs police”. Employers must also take “all reasonable steps” to protect staff from third-party, non-sexual harassment — including private conversations, jokes and remarks made by punters in pubs. Get it wrong, and the costs could be eye-watering. With costs spiralling, a tough economic climate and rising sensitivities, this burden could be the final nail in the coffin for many pubs. To avoid costly litigation, landlords will be forced to take excessive precautions — from “banter bouncers” in pub gardens to codes of conduct on every wall. Don’t forget proof of your Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training before ordering a pint. Read more below 👇
