I designed my home interior with Apple Vision Pro! I recently bought a house and ran into a problem. It was surprisingly hard to visualize the interior from 2D layouts and renders. So I modeled the space in Blender and experienced it at full scale using Apple Vision Pro — aligned directly with my real, empty house. Walking through the design made layout, scale, and lighting decisions obvious instantly. Imagine what this could do for interior designers and real estate developers: fewer revisions, faster approvals, and no guesswork before construction. I’ll be sharing more as this evolves. Feel free to connect if you are curious about the process or want to make something like this. #AppleVisionPro #SpatialComputing

@TheOriginaliTE This is dope. I will definitely play with this but i am still hoping apple gives non enterprise usecases access to the camera.

Passthrough access isn’t available to visionOS apps. So I built it. 😉 Introducing PeekABoo — the first consumer-facing passthrough API for visionOS.👀 It unlocks a whole new category of spatial apps. Here’s how I pulled it off 👇🏻

That’s exactly the problem I’m interested in solving — helping clients actually feel the space before it’s built. With spatial computing we can let buyers walk through interiors, test layouts, and make decisions much faster. Would love to learn more about what you’re doing. Sending you a DM.

Next up is SwiftData Pro: an agent skill that helps AI coding tools write better SwiftData code. Covers Model, Query, predicates, indexes, migrations, relationships, iCloud sync, and lots of sharp edges. Works with all agents out of the box. github.com/twostraws/Swif…

Last week I released SwiftUI Pro, a free and open-source agent skill to help everyone write better SwiftUI code using agents such as Codex and Claude. It's already at 1800 stars on GitHub and rising, but it was just the beginning. github.com/twostraws/Swif…

Disclosure: I wrote this with the help of AI, but these are my thoughts — AI is just helping me articulate them. I feel this deeply. But I keep coming back to one realization: code was never the point. It was always just a medium — the bottleneck between "I have an idea" and "it actually works." What we romanticize about coding was really the problem-solving and creative thinking that happened to be expressed through syntax. That isn't going away. It's getting decoupled from the implementation. But here's what I think matters more — what do we actually do with the time we get back? Because if the answer is "spend even more time talking to the robot," that's a pretty grim outcome. We automated the work just to... do more work, staring at a screen, prompting an AI in a loop? That can't be it. Go touch grass. Spend time with your kids. Automate your life so the robots do the dishes and you do the living. Build something in your garage. Pick up a hobby that has nothing to do with a screen. And every once in a while? Write that code by hand. Just for the joy of it. Not because you have to — because you want to. Even race car drivers drive automatic cars in their daily life. That doesn't mean they've lost their love for driving. It means they get to choose when to feel the engine. The grief @atmoio has is real. I feel it everyday. The craftsman's satisfaction of solving a tricky technical puzzle is worth honoring. But the goal was never to write more code. It was to build things that matter and live a life worth living. The question isn't "what will we do?" — it's "will we actually use this freedom to be more human, or just more productive?"

AI advancement is highlighting very interesting aspect of human nature. One would hope that when AI advances, we will have to work less and do more meaningful work, but turns out as robot does the work for you, you feel more productive and end up doing more work. This is mainly due to peer pressure as the guy next door is now 50x more productive. We never wanted to do less work. We just wanted more productivity.

Added a menu and sounds to my lil AR game. It’s really great that audio spatialization is coming by default in VisionOS. It helps significantly improve spatial awareness of the experience. Also, I increased the corner radius of the snake’s body elements. More apparent highlights on the cubes’ bevels are yet another way to raise spatial awareness. Next steps: 🔉Sound design tuning. 🏆 GameOver screen for sharing. 🎊 A bit of visual effects.

One of the industries really adopting AI video? Real estate. Properties are now advertised like products on social feeds — and AI enhancements help them stand out. AI is being used to bring properties to life, or to imagine what could be done in a space.

I’ve been experimenting with something interesting for interior design and real estate. I took a 360 image of an empty room using Insta360, sketched where I wanted the couch and TV, used Nano Banana Pro in the Gemini app to generate a furnished version, converted it into a Gaussian Splat (3DGS) with Marble by World Labs @theworldlabs then walked inside it in Apple Vision Pro. It’s wild how fast you can go from empty space → immersive walkthrough. For luxury real estate and renovation planning, this could completely change how client presentations feel. Spatial computing is starting to become practical. #InteriorDesign #LuxuryRealEstate #3DGS #AppleVisionPro
