@chantalbraganza When my daughter was about 2 she pointed to the top of the stairs (upstairs lights were off) and said “what’s his name”? I was already booking the removal men when I realised she was talking about the small spider on the banister 😱

The missus and I were having a light-hearted argument about whether we eat porridge or drink porridge. It escalated unexpectedly, words were exchanged, and she revealed she's been fucking someone on the side, so I suppose we're splitting up. Because of porridge.

@bushontheradio Cheddar, grated then melted in a pan with beer (IPA) & with a dash of mustard (Dijon) added. When combined, pour evenly over toast before grilling and then dust with freshly ground black pepper.

EXC: Nigel Farage bought a £1.4m house in cash shortly after the £5m gift from Christopher Harborne, @AliFortescue reveals Reform say the offer and the purchase “process” began before the gift. Reform spox: “The relevant chronology is straightforward. The offer and purchase process for the property commenced before the gift. Mr Farage had already passed proof of funds and the relevant checks before receiving the gift. The purchase was therefore already proceeding independently of it.”

@anon_opin I was recently involved in an incident where the driver opened their door next to a 60mph road and an unsecured dog jumped out and ran across the live carriageway. It didn't end well

It's worrying how many people travel with an unsecured pet in the front seat of the car. Do they think animals are immune to the laws of physics in the event of a collision?

Genuinely think this will wind voters up! Wes Streeting has a habit of coming up with contrived 'oh-so-hilarious' lines. And then repeating them over and over and over again.
Steven Swinford@Steven_Swinford

As Wes Streeting gears up for his leadership bid, I bring you this extravagant denial from the health secretary from November that he was plotting for the leadership Asked if he would rule out demanding Starmer's resignation: “Yes, and nor did I shoot JFK. I don’t know where Lord Lucan is, had nothing to do with Shergar, and I do think that the US did manage to do the moon landings. I don’t think they were fake.” It was from a highly memorable broadcast round on the back of a @patrickkmaguire scoop that Starmer had said privately that he would fight off any leadership challenge. His allies named Streeting as one of the plotters Streeting delivered the same line about JFK in about half a dozen interviews afterwards

BREAKING: Is Wes Streeting going to mount a challenge today? His allies say 'he has the numbers' but claim that 'things are shifting' They say more Cabinet ministers who were barred from seeing the PM are going into No 10 today The implicit suggestion is that they think the PM may have no choice but to go of his own volition, which would remove the need for Streeting to go over the top But over in Number 10 Sir Keir Starmer's position remains absolute - he is not going anywhere. He believes that today's NHS stats and economic stats bolster his case The position is unsustainable - someone either has to give or go over the top at some point today. Just no clarity on who
