So Starmer has also caused 82% drop in migration and 35% drop in accommodation in hotels. But hey; he should go .. right ? Because he’s directly taken the fight to Farage .. @wesstreeting !! @LBC @SkyNews @BBCNews

Burnham will only “win” the seat already won by @UKLabour until @joshsimonsmp rudely ditched it, if other party’s don’t TRY to win it, so they can cause more chaos. That’s no win, it’s no mandate and insulting to Makerfield. Stand by loyalty. Stand by Starmer @LBC @SkyNews

@DaleVince @TwiggDean Thank you Dale. You are spot on. He has a huge mandate from the people who voted specifically for his vision and style of leadership. Some small in the scheme, missteps, like anyone would have, but overall the best PM in my lifetime. It is beyond horrifying what they are doing

I just don’t think there should be a leadership challenge. Keir Starmer has a massive mandate given to him by the British people at the general election. I don’t think anybody in the Cabinet has a right to try to overturn that. I still hope there won’t be a leadership contest. If there is, it’s probable that Keir will stand himself and in which case, I’d be in his camp. What we need now is continuity. We need Labour to deliver on their manifesto. We haven’t even been two years into this government. telegraph.co.uk/gift/d0332ac86…

I am absolutely appalled by the decision of the new Reform UK administration at @Essex_CC removing the Ukrainian flag that has flown in support since the start of the war. Disgusting behaviour! As suspected proves they are Putin sympathisers! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@UKLabour Why are there 5.1 million unemployed then and why are whitbread closing their restaurants. Lots of chains closing down and the co-op are feeling the pinch. Not looking great from here

This Labour government has the right economic plan. The choices we have made mean our economy is in a stronger position, as we deal with the costs of conflict abroad.

I welcome HMRC’s conclusion, which has cleared me of any wrongdoing. I have been exonerated by HMRC of the accusation that I deliberately sought to avoid tax. When purchasing a home of my own with a mortgage, I did not own any other property and had no personal financial interest in the court-instructed trust set up to manage my son’s financial award. I was advised by experts that I should pay stamp duty at the standard rate. I set out to pay the correct amount of tax. I took reasonable care and acted in good faith, based on the expert advice I received, and HMRC has accepted this. I have always sought to act with integrity, and I believe politicians should be held to high standards - that is why I resigned from government and cooperated fully with HMRC.  I wanted to ensure that I paid every penny that I owed, and have done so. I am relieved that my family can now move on - and that I can get on with my job.

I read Labour MPs are forcing Keir Starmer to resign. Wes Streeting and Andy Burnham are favourites to be the next PM But I predict Shabana Mahmood will be the UK's next prime minister. She’s one of the best candidates to lead Britain.

Harriet Harman. Superb. Gordon Brown. Even better. But let’s be honest. The best talent is still on the bench. Everything started going wrong for this country when it betrayed Tony Blair.

We have delivered good, Labour things – action on child poverty, strengthening workers’ rights, protections for renters. But we can’t and we shouldn’t pretend the status quo is working. To stop Reform, we have to be bolder and we have to deliver change faster.
