@willde_ath @AnaArsonist honestly they found it pretty quickly, it was fluid behind the eardrum. they tried a few treatments first, and then went with a tympanostomy tube and that did the trick. hope things stay stable on your side, sounds like you’ve adapted well to it over time ahah ;))

@doriancottin @AnaArsonist how did they find it out? 8 years in and the only real handicap is being the person who needs to sit at a certain seat at the table to hear everyone, there are worse things 😁

@willde_ath @AnaArsonist it took about 8 months after I lost it. I had lost around 70% of my hearing, and it turned out to be fluid behind my eardrum. hope you find something that helps, that sounds really rough

@doriancottin @AnaArsonist interesting, glad yours was restored, how long after you lost it? I've had all the tests possible, all of them. 80% hearing loss, no restoring it

@willde_ath @AnaArsonist had a similar problem, it was caused by fluid behind my eardrum. a simple tympanostomy tube restored my hearing

@AnaArsonist that’s the only thing that does work, otherwise it’s the good old cup your hand over you good ear 😅 it’s was a sudden hearing loss problem, basically have no usable hearing in that ear anyway
