new essay: the more you write, the more you begin to see
i started writing personal essays last year because i was worried i had lost my ability to think deeply after years in a consuming corporate job. what i did not expect was that writing consistently would change my whole life, what i noticed, how ideas connected, and how i made sense of my experience
this essay is about writing as a net for catching thoughts before they disappear, the abundance that appears when you follow an idea for long enough, and the tension between paying closer attention to your life and turning it all into material

Built a realistic mechanical UX on iOS using Nano Banana, Gemini Omni, and Fable 5!
I’ve been obsessed with the realism feel in some UX I see lately so over the weekend I set out to build one myself! The result was not perfect, but given the time spent (about 3 hours) it was way better than I expected
Workflow:
- Nano Banana 2 to generate an image of a vintage stamp machine
- Gemini Omni to turn that image to a video
- Claude Fable to write a compositor script to turn the video to transparent pngs and also extract sound

just met up with a friend who’s hosting a multi-band jam night and transforming a working space into a jazz venue (while running his own company)

i couldn't agree more. what a time to be alive and experience the full spectrum of human condition.
i wake up every day grateful to be alive, explore, and fall in-love with humanity all over again. rinse and repeat because there's no better way to live. even through the pain there is beauty because we wouldn't have empathy without it.
frolic in the grass. fly on the swings. stare at the clouds. dance on the streets. living in frequency with our soul is the ultimate goal to strive for and, by grace, i hope i get the chance to continue pursuing this ultimate quest.
man i am grateful for the people in my life. this is a love letter to everyone who has passed through and/or stuck around

i should’ve elaborated more and thank the people who were behind this: @tinathetechie , @liammatteson & @songyou 🫶. i went home feeling so full and grateful to be here, and sometimes i’m shy to post about it. everyone was supposed to bring a gift to pass on. ditzy me didn’t read the instructions, but luckily i sat next to @floguo, who brought an extra book, and @devannpatel brought this beautiful book about The Art of Money.
