Trump threatens the complete annihilation of Iran, then reaches an “agreement” an hour before the deadline… then says the Strait of Hormuz will remain open and free, while Iran warns that ships will be bombed without prior approval from Tehran. How is any of this supposed to make sense? The messaging from both sides is completely at odds. It’s insane.

This fake Iranian ceasefire is further proof that Trump should never have stopped Israel’s Operation Rising Lion last year.

גילוי נאות: אני מאוכזב מהפסקת האש ואני סבור שעדיף היה להמשיך בלחימה. עם זאת יש להסתכל על הדרישות של איראן שמפרסמים בתקשורת ולהבין שאין קשר בין מה שהם דורשים בתקשורת ובין מה שהם מסכימים אליו במו"מ. איראן דחתה בכל תוקף הפסקת אש זמנית - וול איראן דרשה הפסקת אש בכל זירות הלחימה, כולל לבנון - וול ואלו רק שתי הדרישות הבולטות ביותר שאפשר לבדוק, אנחנו לא יודעים לגבי מה הם הסכימו לגבי העשרה וכו'. אי אפשר לקבוע אם המלחמה הייתה מוצלחת או לא בלי לדעת את פרטי ההסכם [אם יקרה], ואי אפשר לסמוך על האיראנים לגבי מה הדרישות שלהם. אז נחכה ונקווה לטוב.

I support Trump. I’d vote for him again. But this was predictable: Big threat → “talks going well” → timeline extended. I said it this morning. Then it happened. Support doesn’t mean ignoring patterns. If you make extreme threats, sometimes you have to follow through — or people start calling the bluff. (Or just don't make the threat to begin with)

@VividProwess I only know that my children were in danger of getting hit by ballistic missiles for 40 days in order to get right back to where this war started.

Are you disappointed with the ceasefire?

We have been sitting in bomb shelters for 40 days under heavy ballistic missile attacks just to get what? A meaningless ceasefire? Why are there negotiations with a terror regime that vows it will do whatever it takes to see America and Israel destroyed? We must finish the job.

The Strait of Hormuz was OPEN EVEN BEFORE THE WAR (and free). I didn't sit in a SHELTER FOR 40 DAYS AND NIGHTS TO OPEN THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ. What about the uranium? What about the ballistic missiles? What about the Iranian citizens who continue to be EXECUTED EVERY DAY?
