Everyone getting mad over AI code is an NPC. Programming is not art, it's a tedious technical process.

Largely every single argument for AI coding thus far, e.g.:
•code is not the end result
•humans have been stealing code since [forever]
•busywork or menial chores
•AI is already everywhere and unstoppable
•makes people's jobs easier
•SOME use is okay
is something that, if the same argument were made in favor of AI images or assets, you would lose your minds.
So why is it ok to say this about coding, which is just as creative and artistic?

@TitanofDoom1 @vxunderground @telegram ok fair, that was specifically about DNS. but in practice they're not separate. if a country blocks DNS for a service they're usually blocking known IPs too. that's why telegram needs IP/domain fronting, not as a bonus. DNS fallback only beats a censor who never blocks ips

@TitanofDoom1 @vxunderground @telegram right and those existing solutions are vpns and domain fronting etc, which is exactly my point. that's not "code a fallback to direct IP" it's a whole separate infrastructure problem telegram already invests in. you made it sound like a quick patch when its the actual arms race

@TitanofDoom1 @vxunderground @telegram fair on the DNS part but you are ignoring that they just block the IP ranges too. telegram already rotates IPs and does domain fronting to dodge this and countries still choke it out when they escalate. hardcoding IPs just moves the cat and mouse game up one layer doesn't end it

Well, time to switch from Cromite to IronFox as my go-to mobile browser.
It was nice to have it but Cromite just felt broken in specific parts of it
IronFox despite my somewhat hate for its engine has support for extensions. Also feels like it's better and more often maintained
