Happy 8th birthday HeyTaco! 🎉 Eight years ago today, I was struggling at my job. I didn't feel appreciated, my morale was at an all-time low, and I had lost my sense of belonging. The conversations surrounding me were negative, and I hungered for some positivity. So I came up with a crazy idea to fix it—TACOS! By sharing gratitude with tacos, my days improved. I became happier, and my team began to thrive. I'm not a psychologist, but it turns out an attitude of gratitude has the power to transform not only one person but also an entire organization. Thank you to the thousands of people who have believed in and invested in the power of gratitude! I tried to use @AgreeHQ a free version of @pandadoc Figured I could eliminate an unnecessary monthly expense even if it's small Spent an hour trying to create a contract & get the formatting right, not my strong suit but a total mess Sometimes it pays to pay. Back to PandaDoc

A short story about asymmetric disadvantage 👇 Back when @Shpigford was building Baremetrics as an OG open startup, they shared MRR. ChartMogul didn’t. We could see exactly where we stood vs them, they didn't have that luxury. That information advantage was huge: we saw we were growing faster, so we didn't need to obsess over competition and doubled down on what we were doing. Anxiety down, focus up. Open revenue has upsides (buzz mostly). But it also gives competitors a scoreboard. TLDR: think carefully before sharing your MRR

What a disappointment @1800flowers is. I ordered flowers for my mother. They never showed up. I spoke to customer service and they said they will refund me. They only refund the $17.99 shipping fee and not the $88.24 cost of the flowers. 🤯

I won the Fool’s Errand over the holiday. In short I had to take 2 weeks off, unplugged completely. Saw the 'rents, golf, Christmas card, & lots of holiday fun at home (gotta love the 0.5 iykyk). Thanks to all who make the FE possible. It’s an amazing tradition I’ll never forget!
