If a foreign diplomat gives birth in New York, the child is not a US citizen.
But if the diplomat illegally sneaks into the country and THEN gives birth, bingo! US citizenship! That’s how dumb our current interpretation of the 14th Amendment is.

Here’s the thing. The Constitution is amazingly clear on this. The states control their elections. Congress has the power to regulate them.
