@12431djm @cfdownes_ England was formed by uniting several nations in no small part shaped by communities of (effectively) immigrants within them.

England’s identity was built on centuries of shared culture, traditions, and a deep Christian heritage. Remove the history and the values that shaped the nation, and you don’t preserve England — you create something entirely different. A country survives only when its foundations are protected.

England is only England when the people are English and their faith is Christian. Without both, you do not have England, you have something else.

If Labour were serious about ending illegal immigration they would come out of the ECHR and ensure every illegal immigrant was deported within a week of arrival to prevent them claiming asylum in the first place On @bbclaurak @BBCNews

@Councillorsuzie @EdwardJDavey Trump has no case. How has he been defamed? It's a matter of fact that he does falsely claim the election was stolen and that he intended to incite the riot on 6 January. The BBC'S editing error doesn't change that.

“Ludicrous lawsuit” - are you completely naive ? - what the BBC did with the splicing of that video was completely unacceptable. Your complete blindness on this says so much about you @EdwardJDavey - completely out of touch and biased in my view. Unbelievable
Ed Davey@EdwardJDavey

This is Keir Starmer’s moment to stand up for Britain and call on Trump to drop his ludicrous lawsuit against the BBC. The Prime Minister has spent months cosying up to Trump. If he can’t stop him from attacking one of our most precious institutions, what was it all for?

@ArchRose90 Funny how Trump or anyone can never name these areas that are "no go". It is ridiculous for a US President to lecture the UK about violence when there 28x the number of murders in the US. Perhaps he should get his own house in order.

“I can tell you he [Sadiq Khan] is a disaster, he’s a nasty person. You have areas in London…where the police don’t want to go anywhere near those areas.” Trump understands the UK better than the UK government, who are too afraid to confront the Islamist no-go zones in London.

@AndryGiles @ChrisGPackham Trump did incite the riot. That's established fact via eg Congess' January 6 enquiry - and the many court cases where his election denialism have been proven.

@ChrisGPackham Editing the Trump footage in that way was not a 'mistake' it was a purposeful deliberate attempt to make it appear that Trump was inciting violence, which was clearly not the case. The fact that have been two top resignations shows it was not just a 'mistake'.

Superb! @GBNEWS get the *first question* at the White House briefing and use it to ask about the BBC. Karoline Leavitt: 'The President is very clear. The BBC is a leftist propaganda machine that is unfortunately subsidised by British taxpayers'. Spot on 🔥

Deborah Turness says @bbcnews is 'not institutionally biased'. This is why she had to go & why the BBC is lost. The BBC thinks 'impartial' is half-way (or worse) between the rapist and the victim - or the terrorists and the democracy. Everyone lost in this mindset has to go.

Chris The only emergency is climate scaremongering peddled by you eco zealots Led to impoverishment of millions in UK due to high electricity prices from heavily subsidised renewables Jobs & industries are being destroyed You are now losing as we expose Net Stupid Zero
Chris Packham@ChrisGPackham

I’ve just announced I’ll be leading a National Emergency Briefing on 27 November . At a time when climate is in free fall on the political agenda , it’s vital our leaders realise what is at stake if we do not accelerate a just , green transition for all . @nebriefing 🇬🇧

📺NEW POST📺 The BBC is in Cloud Cuckoo Land This is not a "right-wing conspiracy" against the BBC; this is a taxpayer-funded media organisation that has completely lost the plot For years now, the BBC has imposed a pro-trans, pro-immigration, pro-diversity, pro-Gaza, anti-Brexit, anti-Trump, anti-Western, anti-science groupthink on the rest of us while expecting us to stay quiet Those days are over mattgoodwin.org/p/the-bbc-is-i…

The BBC was always there - for all of us. It was like the Beatles and Christmas. The big state events, Top of the Pops, the gold standard for news, etc. Everything. But that was then. I can’t remember the last time I watched it. Can you? I stopped listening to the Today programme years ago, mainly because I felt like I was being told off every morning. ‘You’re white, male and middle-aged - my God we hate you! Now listen to what you’re guilty of, scumbag, before you go to work…’ The BLM stuff tipped it over the edge. Then it went trans bonkers, and then Hamas crazy. Throw in the climate emergency garbage and TDS and you get full-on conspiracy. It has to go. If we’re to save our country from the lunacy that is identity politics, it is very important that the BBC is ritualistically binned. It was so central to who we were; it must play no part in who we are to be.

The #BBC’s problem was a failure to recognise its own bias. I raised issue this with senior BBC management on numerous occasions. Credulous reporting of Hamas propaganda as fact, selective editing of President Trump, not pulling the Bob Villain feed, the rebuke of Martine Croxall, etc etc They saw each “mistake” as being in isolation and couldn’t or wouldn’t see a wider pattern. I hope that this episode will trigger a broader look at bias, groupthink, and political fashion within the BBC by the BBC. I want the BBC to succeed, it’s a powerful British brand, but it needs a proper kick up the arse for that to happen. Perhaps this is it.

BBC director-general Tim Davie resigning - good news. This is the start of the end for the BBC licence fee. Make it a subscription service and let the British people decide if they wish to fund such woke insufferable guff. I will certainly not be paying.
