@LloydCh06965157 I was told enjoy the good days, because they will end. Get through the bad days because they, too, will pass. When having a fear attack, a good solution for me is to call a friend and make the call about them. At least for that time, I won’t be thinking about myself.

37th day sober. Really shitty day yesterday. Haven’t had one of those in a while. Felt like every insecurity was needled and my old pal anxiety showed up and had a field day. I do know days like that happen and today is a chance to start fresh. Hoping everyone has a great Monday

It was a new concept for me—not jumping into debate on every topic imaginable just to prove I was right. I had always believed it was necessary, that people actually wanted to hear what I had to say. But then a wise man asked me: ‘Do you want to be right, or do you want to be happy?' I chose happy. Today, I practice stepping back from those discussions… and I’m far happier for it.

@SSB_Rick Call a friend and ask how they’re doing. Make them the focus of the conversation. You will feel good after that and at least for that phone call you won’t be thinking about yourself.

What does everyone do to deal with the urge? I’ve had a bad day so far, I don’t have time for AA meetings because the balance isn’t there for work and my family. My wife is currently helping me but I’m having a horrible day in general

34th day sober. Grateful for another day. Can’t wait to watch my green & gold play this afternoon. Not everything is puppies, rainbows and bowls of Golden Grahams but I’m glad I get the chance to be better…God, I love cereal. What’s everyone’s favorite cereal?

@DaisyRifles For me the one that has zero give is number three. Sober since 3/26/09. Without that I wouldn’t have even a chance at numbers one and two.

@C_3C_3 If we extrapolate the estimate of 500,000 in the Bay Area on a population of 7 million, it’s over 21 million. Add anchor babies and easily over 30 million.

11 million. That’s the official US government estimate for illegals in America. Yes, that’s true. It’s absurd. It’s an insult to our intelligence. The Biden Administration let in more than 11 million alone. If you had to guess how many illegals are in America?
