Is anyone else struggling with the fact that we have to pay federal income taxes in April, after all the fraud we have seen? I feel like we deserve at least a year's break from paying income taxes until all the money stolen from fraud is clawed back.

The fraud being exposed in California is INSANE - 18% of THE WHOLE COUNTRY’S home health care billing is coming out of Los Angeles County - One doctor billed the government $120 million in a single year claiming to oversee 1,900 patients - With almost 2,000 hospice agencies, Los Angeles County has more than 36 states combined and 30X MORE than the whole state of Florida and New York “How is that possible? And take a look at this map, a cluster of 287 hospice providers, in a two-mile radius, some in strip malls, unmarked buildings, even a wrecking yard and vacant lot. All of it is just paperwork. I could fill that out in Kazakhstan if I want and get a hospice license waiting for me.”

Let me get this straight: 1. prior administrations deported millions of people, and riots were basically nonexistent 2. the moment trump took office, a coordinated campaign by politicians/legacy media *directly called for resistance to ICE* 3. once riots happen and people are die, the spotlight shifts to stopping deportations and defunding ICE If this was such a crime against humanity, why did no one riot in 2024? The intention behind the unrest is NOT empathy. Empathy is being manufactured on false grounds to achieve political aims. And people are getting hurt.

At a restaurant, a server accidentally entered an order incorrectly. When the food arrived, the customer sent the entire order back—completely untouched. The manager’s response? Throw all of the food straight into the trash.
It raises an uncomfortable question: was that really the best option? With food costs rising and so many people going without, should there be a better policy—like offering it to staff, donating when possible, or at least finding a way to reduce waste? Where do we draw the line between food safety, liability, and plain old common sense? 🍽️🤔

@AlexSmith90014 @Milajoy Morally we shouldn't be enslaving people to untenable debt just because they are stupid, desperate, or have child-level impulse control. 10% is a good start to a more stategically managed society. Ultimately we need smarter people w/imbued positive values for the long-term fix.

🚨 RUBY TUESDAY FIRED HIM ON CHRISTMAS - AFTER 19 YEARS OF LOYALTY
A longtime general manager says he was fired on Christmas after refusing to force his employees to work the holiday with no extra pay.
Instead of making staff miss Christmas for free, he volunteered himself. He ran an understaffed restaurant, cooked the food solo, handled nonstop orders, and closed the place the best he could.
They fired him anyway.
Now he’s starting over as a server, with a family to support.
Nineteen years of loyalty. Gone overnight.

Companies aren’t loyal. They never were.
It’s why people switch jobs so much these days. Loyalty doesn’t pay my bills and their pizza parties are tempting but I’m Lactose and tolerant
People shouldn’t be giving a two week notice either because they won’t give you two weeks when they’re gonna fire you
