@LLinWood We don't fight back. God fights my battles. He's caused them( ordained them) and he will finish them. John 18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight. The kingdom is in us, the elect.

@LLinWood Amen. He has already done it. We just need to sabbath (rest) in it and do His will. We have no will but to sin. Dieing to self, carrying the daily cross and being crusified, persecuted.

The Mississippi River and its tributaries drain nearly half of the lower 48 states. The blue lines on this map show the Mississippi River watershed, one of the largest drainage systems on Earth. Every stream, creek, and river within this basin eventually flows into the Mississippi before reaching the Gulf of Mexico. Gravity pulls water downhill, and much of central North America lies within a vast natural drainage basin bordered by higher terrain, including the Rocky Mountains to the west and the Appalachian Mountains to the east. Over millions of years, erosion carved an enormous network of tributaries that converge into the Mississippi, creating the most direct route to sea level. Covering about 1.2 million square miles (3.2 million km²), the watershed drains roughly 41% of the contiguous United States, including parts of 31 states and two Canadian provinces. For thousands of years, this river system has been essential to Indigenous peoples, transportation, trade, agriculture, and commerce, playing a central role in shaping the history and economy of North America.

Ryan Clark says he's more optimistic about the Browns than most because of their defensive talent, pointing to players like Jared Verse, Carson Schwesinger, Grant Delpit, and Denzel Ward despite the uncertainty at quarterback. "I'll go with the Browns [at No. 30] because I believe in some of the defensive players on the Browns. You do bring in Jared Verse, so you could have that level of rush. At the linebacker position, you have an absolute young star. Grant Delpit played at an extremely high level. Denzel Ward is a top-tier corner. You add pieces, offensively, but you don't know who the quarterback is with Todd Monken, so I think that's important." (via The Mina Kimes Show ft. Lenny)

In July 1985, Mel Fisher’s lifelong dream became reality after more than sixteen years of searching for the Nuestra Señora de Atocha, a Spanish galleon that had sunk in 1622 during a hurricane off the Florida Keys. Fisher, once just a diver with a vision, had poured every resource and every ounce of determination into this pursuit. The Atocha was part of Spain’s treasure fleet, carrying immense wealth from the Americas — and for centuries, its riches remained buried beneath the sea. Fisher’s hunt was marked by endless dives and faint traces of progress, but the promise of history’s greatest sunken treasure kept him going. The journey was anything but easy. For years, his team pulled up only small clues: shards of pottery, scattered coins, and the occasional glint of gold. Fisher’s persistence came at a heavy personal cost, including the heartbreaking loss of his son and daughter-in-law in a diving accident. Many dismissed him as chasing an impossible dream, and financial pressures nearly brought his expedition to collapse. Yet he remained steadfast, repeating his motto: “Today’s the day.” Finally, in the summer of 1985, those words rang true — his divers uncovered bars of gold, followed by a cascade of silver coins, emeralds, and priceless jewels, confirming the discovery of the Atocha’s long-lost treasure. Valued at over $400 million, the find was hailed as the greatest underwater treasure discovery of the 20th century. But even after this triumph, Fisher faced a fierce legal battle with the U.S. government over ownership rights. After years of court proceedings, the ruling came down in Fisher’s favor, cementing his place in history as not just a treasure hunter, but a man who refused to give up on his dream. Today, artifacts from the Atocha can be admired at the Mel Fisher Maritime Museum in Key West, Florida — a testament to his unshakable belief that perseverance can turn the impossible into reality. #archaeohistories

The new money on Patrick Mahomes’ deal is worth $239.05 million, with the total value now at $504.75 million from 2026-33, with the first four years being guaranteed at signing. All $504.75 million becomes guaranteed through contract mechanisms.   Mahomes can earn up to $522.25 through incentives and escalators. Beginning in 2027, when the new money begins, the deal averages $64M per year, setting a new NFL record for average annual value.

The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast
Here’s a deeper dive on the first-ever Cleveland for Christ event in Berea on Sunday. The event was organized in partnership with local Christian ministries, including Metro Cleveland FCA. It was promoted as a community worship service to bring people together around the Christian faith. Led by team chaplain Nobles Darby along with Tyson Campbell and Daniel Thomas, the community event featured worship music, public testimonies, prayer and baptisms in the Berea Municipal Pool. Many people in attendance, including players, were baptized. One of the more notable baptisms was last year’s defensive rookie of the year, Carson Schwesinger. Running back Raheim Sanders was also baptized. Other Browns players at the event included Mason Graham, Shedeur Sanders, Taylen Green, Chris Edmonds, Zion Washington, Blake Whiteheart and Jack Stoll (if there were more, I apologize for missing them). Before the event, Darby shared a promo video with a message he often delivers to Browns players: "I always challenge them and encourage them to leverage their platform to point other people to Jesus Christ. And this is gonna be an opportunity to do that." Very cool to see our Cleveland Browns players and young leaders helping to orchestrate a community event like this.

The Dawgs - A Cleveland Browns Podcast
"It's the Cleveland Browns that really caught my attention. If I'm Arch Manning, given the family's history with Eli, I think I want to play for the Browns, who, by the way, already have a great defense." Mina Kimes picked the Browns as the team with the best situation for a rookie QB in 2027. The question was based on Jordan Reid’s way-too-early mock draft. Reid has the Cardinals, Jets and Browns all taking QBs in the top-4 picks.
