I could write a \book\ about how I feel the current era is going… (and slowly putting the pieces together to try) My only advice is to remember and teach queer history 😅 lest we repeat the bad-old-days

Staff and volunteers are bringing world class talent, and attendees are adding their own spice into the mix. I may have a specific nostalgia for the furry of my 20’s (~2006) and the intimate house parties, but it really feels like a renaissance today

@GoldenTerrabyte @Pony_of_Awesome I wanted to do a series of “Furries in their Canonical Homes” and when I was pitching it 3-4 years ago there was a hard split between 30+ furries and younger furs. All the younger furs were confused by the prompt 😅 but lately a bunch of people reached out about it

@DozingUnicorn @Pony_of_Awesome That's actually really cool, and I hope I can experience being a part of it in the future I feel like RP died off strongly just as I started to become the age where I can actually interact with people and write characters at a competent level

I would trade the new wave of furry "content creators" for just one un-ironic sparkledog made with love. COVID brought normies to the fandom, and it kinda sucks. Lol

@GoldenTerrabyte @Pony_of_Awesome I was posting about this a few weeks ago, and it turns out there’s a huge renaissance of people adding RP back into their sonas. It gave me hope I could resurrect a photo project I had abandoned

@Pony_of_Awesome I also wanna see people like, actually treating their sonas as characters to act out/interact as again, too. I feel like that element died off hard and it sucks
