In my opinion Duke has to return Nik cayden and foster. Slim is gone. Big pat is prob gone. Sarr would be nice but he seems gone. Need a center. A backup center. And a shooting guard.

In hindsight I can't help but think this season was lost in the decision to grab Wilkins as our 10th man instead of a serviceable backup big man knowing pats injury history.

As much as I hate UConn, the hardest part is by far knowing we had another week to get healthy and just had to beat Illinois with a chance to get the Arizona Michigan leftover circa 2015. What a missed opportunity.

@dpic2515 Yea there was no plan here. They just inbound it quickly and guys just run around. Ideally Evans is in backcourt , Foster inbounding like he did against St John’s.

The main reason Duke lost yesterday was their inability to rebound. They got out hustled. Plain and simple. Did I love everything Scheyer did? No. But he isn't the reason they ultimately lost. Too many dumb turnovers. A true team loss.

@scottconso Agreed turnovers were a big issue. But Duke was turnover prone for a big portion of the season. I get we "won the boards" but I really meant it seems like we lost every single 50/50 ball

@dpic2515 The main reason was turnovers: 13 Duke, 4 UConn. Rebounds were 34 Duke, 28 UConn. And Duke bettered them in shooting percentage and assists, too

Although slightly different circumstances the irony can't be missed the same people hollering about Tyrese not passing the ball to coop are now slamming Cayden for not holding onto the ball.

that Boozer's statement was most likely a "heat of the moment, emotional response". While the odds are that he enters the NBA draft , there is a slim possibility that he could return to Duke.

Last last night received messages from 2 different sources that Cam Boozer stated (most likely to his teammates) that he wants to return to Duke. Checked with a very reliable source today that tells me, he was told the same thing & that he believes it to be true. I'm also told,

Part2: I don't get why we make these kids go pro as if it's there only choice. If I surveyed 100 adults about 80 of them would want to go back to college for a year. If they were playing for Duke it would be 100. I understand why he won't stay but "because the money" is lame..

Part1: Cam boozer is definitely leaving. But again I have to point out. He already has generational wealth. His brother is on the team. He seemed like he had fun. What would mean more to him? Winning a ring at Duke or earning an extra 30 million? Even if the money did matter..

Shoutout slim, Maliq, Darren, Caleb, and big pat. All came back to avenge last years squad and if we didn't have injuries it def could have happened.
