@LauraLoomer @RabbiUkraine Actually, even from a #Jewish perspective, it’s clear that #Ukraine represents the side of good, while #Russia stands on the side of evil.

I had the honor of welcoming @LauraLoomer —one of the most famous American political bloggers, whose views have a significant influence on the U.S. audience and who is well known for her close ties to President Donald Trump—to the Central Synagogue of Ukraine It is particularly valuable that Laura came to Ukraine in person. Previously, as she herself has publicly acknowledged, many of her perceptions of Ukraine were shaped by Russian propaganda. Like many people around the world, she was particularly troubled by Russia’s claims of alleged “Nazism” in Ukraine and the plight of the Jewish community here. That is precisely why she decided to come here to see everything with her own eyes. The conversation was candid. I told Lori the truth about this terrible war—about the daily Russian shelling, the children and civilians killed, the destroyed cities and villages, and the pain that Ukrainian families endure every day. I also shared my own personal tragedies—what I myself and our community have had to go through during these years of war. We also talked a lot about the lives of Jews in Ukraine. I explained that the Jewish community lives here openly, freely practices its faith, restores synagogues, builds Jewish schools, helps people, and is an integral part of Ukrainian society. Unfortunately, it is Russian propaganda that has, for many years, tried to impose a completely false image of the situation in Ukrainian society on the world. I’m glad that Laura came specifically to see everything with her own eyes and to understand what the heroic people of Ukraine are going through today. As a memento of our meeting, I gave Laura a copy of my book, *Between Miracle and Reality*. I hope it will help her gain an even deeper understanding of life in Ukraine, its people, and the true miracles we are now witnessing I sincerely thank Laura for her courage in coming here despite all the dangers, and for her desire to seek the truth! May the Almighty bless her, grant her wisdom, health, and protection, and help her always stand on the side of truth and justice!
