Dad passed early this morning. Hard to believe we took him for a ride just last Sunday. The root beer float he got would be the last thing he would consume. Thankful for a chance to say goodbye, I know not everyone gets that.

With an aging population traveling more into elder age than previous generations, I think we are going to see more instances of complicated situations of families trying to get mom and dad’s body back home.
