We are over 50 people stranded in Heathrow, nobody knows anything and there is no information forthcoming. They knew we were arriving late, but now we are to wait until 4:30 when the desks open

@British_Airways @AerLingus Flight delayed coming out of Dublin, changed terminal in Heathrow, was instructed to change again, then told flight is gone and so are all personnel from both airlines so left to fend for ourselves. Seriously???

I'll go the other way. Submitted an application @ 11am. Got email @ 1230 saying committee reviewed my app & decided not to proceed. By 4pm, department posted online announcement of successful candidate. FYI no academic committee has ever met & made a decision in 90 min. Ever.
