@DavidFe20490699 @oxensportsuk The majority of textile factories have closed in the UK since the '80's, including a few in Hull, and production exported to places like China. If Oxen, a local company made good, need to manufacture not sure what option they have. Sure they'll operate ethically.

A lot of debate over I Can't Help Falling ... Those with better memories than me ... I don't remember it being sung in the 70s/80s. Maybe it was? I seem to recall it starting after the S'Land game, 1st Jan 1990 - fantastic match btw - is that right or have I imagined it? #hcafc

@NTynesideTiger I bought the official Leeds video after City won 0-2 at Elland Road in 1987. Remember watching it and hearing us singing Can't Help Falling in Love. I was there, it was redemption time.

I said on @The1904Club that a lot of clubs in the PL were in a state of flux, Liverpool have added to that. Add in some clubs new to adding European comps and it might give a promoted club slightly more chance? We'll have another @The1904Club with an ex-#hcafc player on Mon.

@Ambraneri Saturday was redemption for those of us who went in 2016. Then it was a very good squad who deserved the win but before and after the lack of unity overshadowed the team and result. Now we know City will give it a go in the Prem. Might fail, but we have our club back.

This was a great day,but Saturday felt a hundred times better. #hcafc
