No, I don't think 'all people should have the right to decide their own rights', because a pluralistic democratic society can't function that way. Which rights are trans women and 'fans of Pride' missing?

‘Trans people exist. I have no desire for them not to exist; indeed, I wish them safety, happiness and health. However, 'existence' does not, and should not, mean the violation of other people's right to privacy, dignity and freedom of speech, or the reconfiguration of society to indulge a fallacy.’ J.K. WARNING “Conversion practices” are not what you think! The UK is making great strides in restoring understanding and respect for the sex-based rights of women and LGB people. Those who oppose these rights, and instead promote the primacy of subjective “gender identity,” are furious. To appease the angry people, the UK govt has promised to introduce a “fully trans-inclusive ban on conversion practices.” Most people assume that must be a good thing. After all, conversion therapy is horrible, isn’t it? Trying to “cure” gay people with electric shock treatment?! Awful. In the discussion of this topic in the Council of Europe, it was clear that many ill-informed representatives seriously believed that that was what this ban was all about. It has nothing to do with those horrendous practices, which were stopped and outlawed decades ago in most European countries. It’s another word game. First: It’s not about gays, it’s about gender identity. That’s what “trans-inclusive” means. It’s especially about kids who say they are the opposite sex. Second: The people promoting the ban want to ban therapists, teachers, even parents from challenging a teenager’s claim to be the opposite sex. They claim such discussions are a kind of “conversion practice” and must be banned. This is a frightening, pernicious proposal, which places vulnerable young people, especially lesbian teens, in danger. Please explain this to those around you. And especially to your MP! Oppose the proposal to ban “conversion practices.” Don’t hesitate to DM me if you have any questions!

@theklutzydom @wellsmitchell60 @BevJacksonAuth You said it yourself , it’s YOU who doesn’t think there such thing as women’s rights, workers rights, sex based rights etc etc . When women organise together for WOMEN’s rights .. you tell them “there’s no such thing” You’ve lost yet again.
