Best of luck to Hearts today. No matter what happens, the world knows they are the rightful league champions. The only question today is whether Celtic technically get to be the pretenders as a result of a campaign of cheating. Hearts are the true champions.

Hearts deserve to win the league. But they won’t. They’ve been cheated & shafted. The world knows. Celtic will get their tainted title, delivered via the hand of referees who have been corrupted, but everyone knows they cheated to get there. Martin O’Neill’s respect as a football man has been tarnished beyond repair given he has happily been involved in whatever corruption has occurred to buy off the officials. I’d rather be a Rangers, or even Hearts, fan and lose the league, than be part of that shameless corrupt cheating cabal. We will never be like them. And be grateful for it.

Now the dust has settled.. The reaction from many high profile people is way over the top. John Beaton was advised to go to the monitor and saw that the ball hit the arm in an unnatural position Bottom line is people would hate to see Celtic win the title again and that is all.

Herman, let’s tell the truth. You left the DA because you thought the panel I chaired in 2019 would recommend you resign. We had no intention of doing so and never did. You left anyway. No one pushed you out. Having said that, I will also say that the hour we spent with you was astonishing: I have never in 35 years in politics come across someone so utterly narcissistic, which is extraordinary given, well, some of the people I have come across! We were left stunned. So well done on leaving.

Free advise and reminder: 1. Helen Zille involved the leadership of the ANC, facilitated by the IRR in 2019, to bring a Motion of Confidence against me. After my resignation, some DA Councillors voted for the ANC's Geoff Makhubo. 2. After the 2021 LGE, Helen Zille refused our proposal, ActionSA and FF+'s offer to support Mpho Phalatse as the mayor of the City of Johannesburg. DA has always wanted to co-govern with the ANC like they are doing in the so-called GNU.
