@drecos__ @Starship_block3 The fuck are you talking about? Engineering, planning, testing, practicing, executing. That gameplay loop is extremely fun.

@BanhmiBrieoche Here's my idea of what could happen 1-Mengzhou does an Artemis 1-like mission. 2- Lanyue launches, lands and returns to lunar orbit, if it's successful, bthen send a MZ to rendezvous with the LY in LLO, possibly crewed, doing an Apollo 8,9&10 in one mission 3-Crewed lunar landing

The language here does imply these are orbital missions not just flybys but I'm also wondering if theres wiggle room for a demo landing. It sounds like no demo landing because they're just described as orbital, so just MZ-LY docking exercises plus one standalone Mengzhou?

According to an interview to the launch specialist of Wenchang LC. During 2028~2030, China will do 3 times of unmanned lunar flyby missions + 1 manned lunar landing mission. No manned lunar flyby accoirding to this piece of news.

The Grand Tack is one of my favorite early solar system hypotheses, because it reads just like an epic story of old. Why don't we have a "Hot Jupiter" in our solar system? Well, according to Grand tack, WE ALMOST DID, and Jupiter was on track to destroy the entire inner solar system! That is... until Saturn stepped in, and gravitationally wrangled the mega-planet into an orbital resonance, dragging the monster back into the outer solar system, where it belongs, saving the Earth in the process.
