@PFGNathan You're forgetting one really important thing ...they haven't won a National Title yet. All those points you mentioned are valid but they also apply to Duke, Michigan, Florida, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, Michigan State, Indiana, Virginia, UConn and other big time programs

@HoernerMVP He has tendency to wear down somewhat as the season moves along but for now in his 11 innings pitched he's been solid. Keep in mind he's 35 years old now and well past his prime.

I’m going to say something. Colin Rea is a top 30 SP in baseball. Goes 5+ every time out and 9/10 starts gives the team a chance to win. Idc about the nerd stats. He does his job every time out. Every team would love to have a Colin Rea on their team.

@voiceofcohen2 He should be in the lineup Alex. Agree a lot of Happ haters out there and have been now for several years. I guess fans are uniformed or just don't care for Happ but as a switch hitter in your lineup he also causes manager decisions when it comes to bringing in relievers.

Could literally do this all day. All this public anger based on a tweet when I said I can understand the qualms of where Ian Happ is placed in the lineup, but his career line and consistency means he should at least be in the lineup. Seems misplaced.

#WhiteSox get swept by Baltimore. Obviously the talent on this team is seriously lacking, but man has Will Venable been bad this season. His bullpen management is just mind numbing. I’m not convinced he’s a capable manager.

@kengarrwastaken @Sam_Phalen Agree the loss of Vasil was huge for this team. His versatility was unmatched last season as he was a spot starter, long relief and closer. Not to mention a sparkling 2.50 ERA with 5 wins in over 100 IP. Hoping for a full recovery for him.

@REALBenJohnson1 @Sam_Phalen @martymush Agree Murphy has to go to AAA ...when you're brought in to face a left hand batter you need to perform and get him out. That hasn't happened yet.

@Sam_Phalen i think Venable is a solid manager. Getz is the problem. Venable has nobody besides Dominguez and Taylor that are actually good in the pen. Having Chris Murphy on this roster is actually insane to me, he literally let up multiple hits to @martymush on youtube and then posted it.

This was just 2 years before they won it. Our farm system has prospects coming strong and more to come.

@Brett_A_Taylor Don't jinx him WAR can be overrated as well going forward ....how did PCA fair his 2nd half last season when we bragged about this WAR the first 3 months. .216 avg , 6 homers and just 24 RBI, slugging % at .372 and on base % a pathetic .262

At 1.0 WAR, Nico Hoerner has been the most valuable player in baseball so far this season.
