@kevinrose packaged it up. “don’t call it a gstack,” but i have reached some new heights with this approach to taking thousands of fragments, concepts, and ideas and turning them into hundreds of outputs i never would have had the follow-through to produce otherwise. github.com/drewburchfield…

I might be closer to this than I realized. I built a version of this because my ideas do not arrive in a neat line. I needed a way to layer scattered thoughts into something cohesive enough to write from. Zettelkasten + CODE + a custom CC plugin/skills setup. Open sourced part of the connective tissue. Might be time to finish packaging the rest. github.com/drewburchfield…

take it further - product should do product - product should design - product should build - product should measure - product should market - product should price - product should sell - product on a quota wait
Tony Fadell@tfadell

Most tech companies break out product management and product marketing into two separate roles: Product management defines the product and gets it built. Product marketing wires the messaging- the facts you want to communicate to customers- and gets the product sold. But from my experience that's a grievous mistake. Those are, and should aways be, one job. There should be no separation between what the product will be and how it will be explained- the story has to be utterly cohesive from the beginning. Your messaging is your product. The story you're telling shapes the thing you're making. I learned story telling from Steve Jobs. I learned product management from Greg Joswiak. Joz, a fellow Wolverine, Michigander, and overall great person, has been at Apple since he left Ann Arbor in 1986 and has run product marketing for decades. And his superpower- the superpower of every truly great product manager- is empathy. He doesn't just understand the customer. He becomes the customer. So when Joz stepped into the world with his next-gen iPod to test it out, he fiddled with it like a beginner. He set aside all the tech specs- except one: battery life. The numbers were empty without customers, the facts meaningless without context. And, that's why product management has to own the messaging. The spec shows the features, the details of how a product will work, but the messaging predicts people's concerns and finds way to mitigate them. - #BUILD Chapter 5.5 The Point of PMs

Anybody have an OpenClaw instance that's set up for agentic payments? Curious how you approached the controls for personal assistant use cases (e.g., pre-funded cards, policies, protocols, etc)

Ok, so this is a big deal. I’ve used @PrivacyHQ for years for virtual cards and have already been using it manually to give agents like @openclaw or Claude Code sandboxed payment abilities. Now I can issue a card on demand, make a payment, and then pause or close it programmatically. Huge unlock for trusted agent workflows around transactions!

fully agree. each team is different. cultural/politics navigation are vital to any semblance of success, and solutions end up being exactly what they need/want but what I would consider bites at the apple or incremental in the grand scheme. real world isn't ai twitter yet unfortunately 😀. daily boomerang.

the issue with AI people wanting to get into independent consulting is that 90% of it is not AI. to be honest, almost none of the implementations we do are ground breaking it’s mostly finding new leads and doing sales, listening to people explain their problems (hours and hours of this), figuring out the absolute minimal amount of AI needed to solve the problems, navigating internal politics to get it done, building it, and then chaperoning getting it deployed asap you still need to understand AI and engineering quite well to build that minimal thing, because most people overthink it. and what exists out there changes so you gotta keep up it turns out not many people are good at all this, and there’s insatiable demand for this right now. but you should have your eyes open to what it actually looks like to do this job, and what you need to be good at

@justingray0 @_chenglou @WisprFlow I expected to care, but benefit outweighs for my workflow as I'm too addicted to airpods. Originally when I made it I assumed thats why we haven't seen this type of fix show up in mainstream apps, but I would enable this mode in one of those apps if it was available.

@justingray0 @_chenglou @WisprFlow definitely not an ideal fix, but based on what I found, until Apple fixes the core issue it may be the only one!! Let me know how it goes if you try it and if you have any issues

Someone needs to build a better vault for agents. 1Password could work, but the setup experience for using the CLI and the constant need to re-auth with the most expensive tool call -- asking a human, is not agent friendly at all.

After watching @summeryue0's OpenClaw speedrun her inbox, I added compile-time safety profiles for @steipete's gogcli for my own sanity, letting you tailor agent-safe versions of gog. PR(D) to upstream: github.com/steipete/gogcl… Fork (ready to use): github.com/drewburchfield…
Summer Yue@summeryue0

Nothing humbles you like telling your OpenClaw “confirm before acting” and watching it speedrun deleting your inbox. I couldn’t stop it from my phone. I had to RUN to my Mac mini like I was defusing a bomb.

current cpto/cto persona was built to solve a real scaling problem IMO. Now with the expectation of staying closer to the work because the time-cost has collapsed, there are new pressure points in those roles and a need to usher in new personas. If only we could duplicate @clairevo everywhere.

I am against Chief Product and Technology Officers Why? In theory, it makes a lot of sense But in practice ... they generally are neither They don't code, and they aren't close to the product. They just want to be strategists. They don't want to do the work. You don't need that I don't even think Oracle needs that Hire one of these, you will lose in the Age of AI
