A lot of teams jumped Syracuse as far as talent and roster construction. Kiyan Anthony isn't the talent you need to build your program around. Bad shots and defense will only get coaches fired

Now that Bryan Hodgson is out of the mix for the Syracuse opening, I would expect new AD Bryan Blair to focus on Siena coach and former ‘Cuse guard Gerry McNamara - who is taking the Saints to the NCAA tourney for the first time since 2010.

@TucciManBurr A few months ago, when I was asked who I’d ideally want if the job was open, I said Shaheen, and that even though he was a Seton Hall guy, they didn’t have the resources to keep him if a program with more came calling. Outside of a surprise, I imagine it’ll be him or Gerry.
