Truly insane to watch… Trump asks Congress to stand up if they believe it’s the duty of the US government to prioritize American citizens over illegal aliens… Not one Democrat stood up.

In one of the most iconic moments in State of the Union history, Trump checkmated every Democrat by asking Congress to stand if they agree: The first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not illegal aliens. The Democrats stayed seated.

@CinemaTweets1 It’s a fair opinion. I also think Dano is terrible, especially in the Batman movie

Quentin Tarantino could not be more wrong about Paul Dano if he tried. I’m not here to “cancel” Tarantino just because I think his opinion is incredibly stupid. Like all of us, QT is entitled to his opinion. But his movie takes have been horrible lately. Like embarrassingly bad.

ESPN Sources: Cowboys are trading three-time All-Pro LB Micah Packers to the Green Bay Packers. Parsons and the Packers already have reached agreement on a four-year, $188 million contract. @DavidMulugheta of @Athletesfirst had a hand in the trade and ultimately negotiating the record-breaking contract that includes $120 million fully guaranteed at signing and makes Parsons the highest-paid non-QB in NFL history.

@yungjoc650 6'1" 220 bro looks like he weighs 260 this year. Absolute highway robbery of the @Rangers. One of the most out of shape players I've ever witnessed swing a bat. And supposedly this guy was a stud football player only ~12-13 years ago but now is built like Andy Reid.

My time in Phoenix has come to an end. All these stops along the journey have really impacted me in a positive way. Remeber it’s a world behind the scenes, and those who make things work in that space, work tirelessly to make our lives easier as players. I appreciate all the quick interactions with everybody from support staff to teammates distant cousins, it’s all a family that I’m grateful to be apart of, no matter what. I truly believe this nba is a one big community. Much love to Arizona. Houston, Can’t Wait!

lost in the #SouthwestAirlines bag policy change: their change to flight credits. they were the 1st (only?) airline to change the policy from one year of expiration to “never expires”. now, you have as little as 6 months to use the credit from a cancelled flight. doomed company

Safe to say flying @SouthwestAir just became obsolete eliminating the only reason to actually fly on their usually overpriced routes. They really are stupid. @gary_kelly I'll be selling my stock as well. #SouthwestAirlines

DOGE dividend? How dumb do you think we are @elonmusk @DOGE @WhiteHouse @realDonaldTrump Just another excuse to dilute the spending power of the dollar, drive more inflation, thus shrinking the middle class just to artificially pump earnings on consumer staples #fuckDOGE

Wildfires that burn through urban or semi-urban areas, such as the Woolsey Fire in California or the Marshall Fire in Colorado can leave behind a variety of toxins in the soil. These toxins result from the combustion of building materials, household goods, vegetation, and other debris. The key contaminants can include: 1. Heavy Metals Arsenic, Lead, and Mercury: Released from burned paint, treated wood, electronics, and older building materials. Cadmium and Chromium: Found in batteries, pigments, and metal coatings. 2. Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) Released from older electrical equipment, transformers, or building materials containing PCBs. 3. Dioxins and Furans Highly toxic compounds produced when plastics, wood treated with preservatives, and other organic materials burn at high temperatures. 4. Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) Formed from the incomplete combustion of organic matter, including vegetation, asphalt, and other hydrocarbons. 5. Asbestos Released into the soil when older structures with asbestos-containing insulation, flooring, or siding burn. 6. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) These can seep into the soil from burned chemicals, solvents, and household cleaners. 7. Pesticides and Herbicides Found in areas where these chemicals were stored or used, and they may become more mobile after fires. 8. Synthetic Materials Melted and burned plastics, foam, and synthetic fibers release complex organic pollutants. 9. Ash and Alkalinity The fire leaves behind highly alkaline ash that can alter soil pH, potentially mobilizing toxic metals. Health and Environmental Implications Direct Exposure: Handling contaminated soil or inhaling dust can lead to heavy metal poisoning, respiratory issues, or skin irritation. Water Contamination: Toxins can leach into groundwater or run off into streams, affecting water quality. Plant Growth: Soil contamination can harm vegetation, impacting local ecosystems and recovery efforts. Remediation and Testing Testing: Conduct comprehensive soil testing to determine contamination levels. Remediation:Removal of contaminated soil in severely affected areas. Soil amendments to bind or neutralize toxins. Phytoremediation using plants to extract or stabilize contaminants. If you're in an area affected by a wildfire, avoid disturbing the soil until it has been assessed, and follow local guidance on cleanup and recovery.
